We could hear the sea!! 0We stayed in room six, the family room, with our two little ones (one in a travel cot) . You can tell the rooms have been renovated and this looks to be continuing. The bedding was top quality, as were the beds. The tea tray was fully branded and matched the decor. As the description says it's not high end luxury but it was just lovely. The room itself wasn't very big, but absolutely fine for a place to sleep, shower and look at the view. Our little one sat in the bay window watching the world go by, and the sea come in and out. It was ace to lie in bed and listen to the sea. We felt very safe there at this strange time. Really reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend it!

Hubbys 50th birthdayMy husband and I were greeted by a young man who gave us our keys and told us where our room was, he said when you leave at the end of your stay, put the keys in the box on the reception door, apart from that we didnt see any staff again.Room was an ok size with lovely views of cardigan bay but windows could have done with a clean and also had lots of seagull poo spoiling the view. There was no herbal tea or organic coffee in the room as advertised on the hotel website and to boil the kettle I had to run an extension lead (which was rolled up under the bedside cabinet) the whole length of the room, this was quite dangerous. The floor tiles in the bathroom were broken. Because of the coronavirus were wasnt able to have breakfast but no discount was offered to buy a breakfast elsewhere. The hotel sold tea coffee crisps and homemade cake through a downstairs window so it would have been a nice gesture if were were offered a slice of cake or even a bag of crisps In the morning.

Find Another HotelOn arrival we were given a key from a young man and never saw him again. Sea view room was extremely small and dated, had to be careful manoeuvring around in such a small area. Only one socket with a trailing adapter. All furniture marker and worn and hidden with cloths. Unable to open curtains as they were so old the tracking was stiff. The bathroom was appalling, cracked flooring and sink. The tap ran all night. Nowhere to put any toiletries. A really Uncomfortable bed. Realistically the worse place we have ever stayed in. On our second evening the couple above us were screaming and arguing and there was nobody to report too, nobody here all night. Nobody cleaned the rooms and we found a plastic bag outside our room on the second day with one clean towel in. Dont be disappointed just dont stay here!! Had to rate one circle to process!

A One Night StopIt was OK for the money paid. I'm not sure where else you would get a double sea front room at this price. Downsides - the bathroom was very small. Upsides - they gave you wine glasses in the room. The view over the bay was lovely. I would say it was OK for a night maybe two but no longer and be cautious not all rooms are en suite so check what you are booking - we did, Very handy for the beach and town. Room was very clean and freshly decorated. No food served at the moment due to Covid
