  Most disgusting place I have ever stayed and the customer service is just as bad

  The place was full of cockroaches (incl in the fridge), sheets and pillows were filthy as was the walls and bathroom. When I rang to complain he told me he was too busy to deal with me and hung up on me. I would NEVER stay at any of their locations again. Its a family run business (Newcastle apartment is the company) so they think they can just treat people however they want. Its appalling! The most filthy place I have ever stayed.

  minor inconveniences but ok really,apart from the neighbours

  Yes,I found cobwebs,cockroach(1),cardboard keeping drawers closed,non working lights,but was good(and big) and had everything you need It is showing its age and therefore priced correctly I feel. Plus great shower,lots milk,tea,coffee(instant) and some stale biscuits. I asked for a unit away from the highway and got this(check in and phone contacts very pleasant--no reception on site,all done by sms). But I didnt think the road noise was too bad.I should've asked for a unit separated from the others(especially if I was to be next to a family). Because I got the kids running jumping on the furniture and giggling, at bedtime.For ages. On floorboards next to my bedroom,this is hugely annoying. Also it seemed this lot were long -termers and treating this like their family home. I felt sorry for the owners,for the damage being done. Also only limited gb wifi given(ok for me)

  Stay somewhere else!

  Absolutely awful after initial positive experience with helpful staff who arranged early checkin, and good room layout. The apartment was filthy and unsanitary, despite reception having called housekeeping back to complete the clean. Dirty floors, food bits in the microwave, hair on the shower wall, broken light fitting, pubic hair behind toilet seat, residue on the shower head and damaged soap holder, broken glass in the carpet. My wife had to throw away her new slippers after floor filth compacted on the soles. Complained to reception to request a refund, was not offered a replacement apartment. Later follow up with management regarding our complaint was met with highly unhelpful and aggressive response from Tony (Tony@jev.com.au). The beds were like a marshmallow bathtub - tried the sleeper couch only to find yet more dirt, broken glass, bottle tops and wine bottle cap inside the couch, worse still was the mattress cover soiled and stained yellow in the centre. The dirt has evidently accumulated over a period of weeks or months and only treated with a cursory bleach spray to give the smelly impression of cleanliness. Would rather give a zero star rating, and hope the helpful receptionist is able to find employment somewhere more suited to her positive attitude.

  Basic but good

  We found the place basic but fine and value for money. Check in was simple with SMS code, the apartment was clean, tidy and quiet. It was near located in a convenient location for what we wanted to do and wests is only a quick walk away for a great dinner.

  Worst experience of my life

  Never have I been t treated with such disrespect and outright vial words spoken to me. I would not recommend staying here the place was absolutely filthy was a used condom in the CD player and ciggie butts, I was accused of theft or fraud as they bull the wrong car, my $90 meal I prepared was ruined due to having to deal with there stuff up and there was a wasps nest in the backyard and my friends child was stung If I co uild give a 0 out of 5 I would be. The staff are so rude and yell at you like your a child
