  Great location and friendly staff - will be back!

  Caravos hotel is perfectly located, right in the centre of Koukenaries. The hotel has beautifully kept gardens and a fantastic large pool with sun beds etc. My room was spacious and comfortable with a Iovely big balcony. I found the staff there so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! They told me how to find all the gorgeous beaches in the area (I've previously visited the main beach of Koukenaries but had no idea there were so many gorgeous quiet beaches on my doorstep!) Mandraki, Elias, Agistros and Eleni are the ones I remember! The food from the bar there was fantastic too, as was the service and atmosphere overall. I look forward to visiting again soon

  Do not enter!!!!!!

  The pictures will missleading you!!! It is worst than you could expect. It is dirty, NEVER renovated, it is bellow any acceptance. Cannot be categorised, it should not be allowed to function. It is bellow 2 star hostel.

  GREAT VALEU FOR

  prettyworied by the comments we only chose in for the location bud it was a great surprise it rely makes our holiday a good size rooms with bath food ( if you like Greek food ) was great and plenty a lively bar with huge cocktails friendly stuff Wot else to ask for aaa and the best of all is the location in koukounaries area in walking distance 10to20minutes are 10to 15 beaches a gate location for beach lovers like us we will definitely be back in 2017

  I wanted so much to see Skiathos, so the hotel wasn't so important

  Perfect view from balcony to Strofilia lake and forest .The room was clean, the refrigerator is very small (for 6 beers), old furniture, burned carpet. The bathtub is hand-painted to fill the rust. The hotel's owner doesn't salute you in the check out day and stops the hot water in the last day :)) The breakfast is served at Stamelos Bar and it's very rich : continental and english buffet.

  Skiathos holiday - Hotel Caravos - location, location, location!

  Like others I was pretty worried about the reviews I had read previous to going on the holiday but as others have also said it wasnt as bad as the reviews had made out. I said here for a week in August with my family, there is a fantastic pool, very clean,but with the best beach on the island opposite to the entrance to the hotel, your on the beach more than you are ever at the hotel. Big Bannana beach on the Koukanaries is wonderful, great beach bars for lunch, great toilet and shower facilities- awesome. The bus stop is right outside the hotel front entrance too, so you can get the but to any where on the island, Skiathos town is only about 10 mins away. The hotel rooms at the hotel are tipical Greek, very clean, bed and en suite, the room had a great balcony with a view over the lovely hotel pool, then to the koukanaries lake and pine forest behind - fantastic setting. The food was good and plentiful, only draw back no choice of desert ( only grapes) or any tea, only coffee. However super market next door for ice creams for the kids. Over all the location is key, right opposite the beach and 10 mins from Skiathos town by bus, and most of all affordable.if you want Luxury then you need to pay double or triple. Family had a fantastic holiday here, would definitely go back. Location, location, location!
