  Really good stay

  Our small family stayed 3 nights in mid november. We had one of the new apartments, and they are spacious and comfy. Worth every cent. The svim area is good and our kids really enjoyed it. We also had breakfast the first day, and it were with a well sorted selection. From the hotel it is a 1 min walk to the Beach and a long boadwalk. Thank you for a lovely 3 days.

  Nice standard hotel

  Big rooms with nice beds, thow i can't understand why they have so softa pillows they were horrible. Small dinnerbuffe with food that was nice but, nothing out of the ordinary. The breakfast was more impressive. They have two parts of the hotel with the same room numbers so If you take the wrong stairs or elevator up it can be a little bit of struggle to find your way back. Small bar but with nice drinks. The location close to the beach is what brings up the hotel one dot from three for just the hotel.

  Good breakfast

  The reception looks like a hospital, but the staff where friendly and welcomming. The room looks lika an ordinary hotel room, but it was nice with a balcony with sea view. There where no toilett paper in the room when we arrived, and we had to pick it up in the reception. But why do the hotell has two rooms with the same room number? (in different parts of the hotel). Someone had probably a bad day when he was thinking. The breakfast was really good and the "omelette lady" made perfect omellets.

  Nice hotel, bad service

  There is no question Carat Hotel has nice amenities. We stayed at one of the appartments, which was well thought out, had everything we needed and which I would give 4,5 stars. Same for the nice pool area, sauna etc. But the mediocre service could have spoiled our trip if we had let it. It all started with me trying to book online, which was impossible, i ended up with prices around 3000 for 2 rooms for 3 nights and couldnt boom an appartment at all. So I had to call. My questions were barely answered and I was told that this "child-friendly" hotel charges you for an extra guest in the apartment despite the fact that the extra guest is 1 year old. Which hotel charges for children under three that sleep in the provided beds? And despite this, they charge extra for baby cots and high chairs. We decided to go anyway because of the amenities but we're disappointed by their service again, both at the restaurant and reception. We had to convince the waiter to give us some form of kids food, we ended up ordering just fries, but even this was difficult. When we asked that they should be served right away, before our meal, we received blank stares and a mumbling about having to as the kitchen. Again, any restaurant is able to do this, even the ones that don't use child-friendly as a selling point. Receptionist were civil enough but definitely not service oriented. Performance was not worthy of a 4 star hotel. We are not going back.

  Very rude staff and hotel

  We booked a two room apartment with kitchen and got a hotel room without kitchen. Hotel insisted that we made a mistake. This was on my birthday and staff told me in my face that I made a mistake and should live with it instead of trying to find a solution. Then ganged up with other guests to be rude to me.
