  Great apartment over looking the pool. Gym facilities a bit small but still good. Really enjoyed the trip. Staff were so nice, both girls at reception helped me a few times over the weekend. Will stay again.

  Simply an excellent place to stay

  We have stayed at Arena several times over the past few years. The location is excellent, the apartments are lovely - light, spacious, well-equipped - and the staff are genuinely helpful. We had to rearrange our travel dates twice, due to unforseen circumstances. The staff were understanding and helpful, and even managed to assign us a wonderful apartment that met all our 'wants' as well as our 'needs', which really added to our enjoyment of our holiday.   GOOD LOCATION

  Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean maybe sofa a little tired. Staff were very accommodating and the location was perfect for food and cafes and generally getting around.We were driving so secure carpark handy.Pool and gym good.

  Very bad accomodation

  We stayed at room 102. It's an absolute run down apartment. Really falling apart. Rust and paint coming off in many places. The cleaning was appaling. One of the dirtiest places I've ever stayed. Everything was dusty, floors were very, very sticky (including bedrooms' carpet) when we checked in. The windows are so dirty you can't really enjoy the view. Additonal problems - Lights in one of the showers didn't work. Front of kitchen drawer falling apart when you tried to open. Oven only worked 1 night (out of 3 nights), and we had to throw frozen food out and buy takeaway, which made us spend more money unnecessarily. Air con is in the living room only. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but the amount of dust around made us not want to turn them on.

  Cheap, dirty but good location

  access to patrolled beach, trams, shopping, food etc all fantastic. not right in the heart of surfers but not to far away. fantastic uninterrupted views of the beach from the balcony - windows were extremely dirty this really detracted from the view. carpet in rooms was filthy also. If you had slightly wet feet it would leave muddy footprints on the tiles after walking on the carpet. disgusting Kitchen and bathroom and in general cleaning was good but no detail cleaning Some areas poorly maintained ie toilets and shower heads had leaks latch for dryer was broken and hard to manage and there no outside air dryer to hang towels. booked online and was told free wifi and late checkout. Noone answered phone or emails in days leading up to stay. No one attending counter or answering phone on arrival. Eventually a polite lady answered saying that she was moving out and gave me a key to the room. No info on property provided, no wifi password, no late checkout etc. No one answered the phone or was at the counter for the duration of the stay.
