A good hotel near Lecce railway station and city centreVery good location (close to railway and bus station and 10 minutes-walk from city centre). Large and clean room, small bathroom. No lift. Breakfast on the average. Free luggage storage available after checkout (for late departures)

Relaxing stay in a friendly, informative environmentHotel Cappello was founded by Sandro and Cesare's grandfather. The two brothers were very informative, efficient and passionate about their work. The hotel has a 1930s charm. Just two floors but the tiles, wood panelled reception area and classy staircase give it a very unique flavour. I was travelling with my dog, Rusty, who was also made to feel very welcome. They charge a small supplement for pets. When I arrived Cesare gave me a great tip concerning my dinner time restaurant. It was light years more authentic and ungentrified then all the other consciously stylish eating places I passed enroute to it. Cesare told me he used to eat there as a child. The next morning I had the pleasure of meeting Sandro who, using the big map of Puglia that stands in the hall gave me a very succinct and precise presentation of the Puglian coast. I arrived by car but for train travellers Hotel Cappello has the added advantage of being a five minute walk from the station. I like the neighbourhood too- lots of ethnic food shops, art galleries and student digs, certainly not a threatening feel to the place as one may assume from such areas. Excellent wifi and quiet street.

Good price, good serviceOur stay was short, only two nights, but everything was ok. The hotel is only 10 min from the city center, the rooms are big and the service was excellent. The breakfast is complete: croissants, cereals, cookies, juices, coffee, etc. If you come with your car it is also easy to find a spot to park it in front of the hotel.

Good choice! It's a good hotel in an old building but still pleasant. The rooms are nice with very comfortable big beds. We had a room with a view at the train station but in the nigh we didn't have problems with the noise, probably not many trains have passed. The breakfast was good and enought. The hotel has a good location, near the train station and only 15 min walk to the historical centre and attractions of the city, so you don't need a car.

This hotel is deceptive and run by dishonest peopleI booked six rooms thinking this hotel was in Milan. It is an hour and a half from Milan. Within five minutes of making the booking I tried to cancel the rooms. The hotel has refused to cancel the booking. even though they are advertising as a Milan Hotel. Tf you see this Hotel Advertised anywhere chose another property unless you want to be ripped off. I have no tolerance for deceptive advertising run by dishonest people.
