  Nice Place to Stay

  My wife and I stayed at this hotel while we were attending a training event conducted inside the hotel. We spent three nights here. The hotel is nice, the staff was nice, friendly and attentive and the food at both the restaurant and in the bar was good. Definitely wouldnt stay here again and recommend to others.

  KREIA Convention

  I enjoyed my stay at the Capital Plaza Hotel. The staff are friendly, polite and over the top accommodating. Lyn Giles, the manager, gets a 5 star rating from me. She bent over backwards and even provided arrangements for rides to and from the airport for me. Being a woman traveling alone, I appreciated her willingness to do this for me. I was an affiliate for the convention, she even assisted in showing me where to set up my vendor table. The room was clean, the food was delicious!! Seriously, order the hamburger for room service, you will not be disappointed... fresh produce, large portions , speedy delivery and cooked to perfection. I will attend another convention here and I am pleased to give a 5 star rating. Excellent, friendly service... clean rooms and delicious food!! Worth the price for sure!!

  Great hotel!

  3/25/20 Came here to stay one night as I was out this way for work. Ive always been curious about this hotel but where I live close by, I wouldnt normally stay in one. But this hotel was absolutely beautiful! Everything from the fountain background wall to the dining area and the decor. The lady at the registration was super friendly, and very accommodating. As I left most of my belongings at home, she was able to help me with a comb, toothpaste and toothbrush, as well as deodorant. She was just such a blessing. I had a great nights rest at this hotel. Everything was very clean and organized. Would most definitely stay here again.

  A great place to stay

  Upon Checking in in July 2020 we met the front desk person whose name is Alice. She had that Southern Hospitality demeanor about her. She guided us as we were not familiar with the area. Although Covid prevented a "full" experience at the hotel (restaurant and areas were closed) it was a pleasant stay and one mile away from the Buffalo Trace Distillary with views of the KY River. Upon checking out, Alice mentioned that Daniel Boone was buried in a cemetery not far away. This prompted us to "check it out". So glad we did> Thanks Alice and keep up the good work! A pet friendly Hotel

  Classic, beautiful Hotel

  We stayed two nights - with out dog - and can only say good things about this hotel. It was decorated for Christmas, but the pool and gym were closed due to Covid. The room was large and had a fridge, and microwave. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. We also liked the couch and desk in the room. Our breakfast was a 'to go' bag with juice, muffin, and yogurt. Coffee is available in the lobby and in the room. The location can't be beat! Across from River Walk Park and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a brewery. The staff was extremely nice and helpful too. I would stay here again.
