    Value and quiet

    The location is very handy to mrt station as well as train station. Lots of places to eat around and just across the street from famous night markets. The hotel is quiet and the rooms although not large are comfortable. The WiFi is stable and good signal. Rooms also have a balcony which gives you a good airy feeling. Breakfast is not the best but its adequate having both Asian and western food items. Staff is friendly.

    Trip to Taipei

    Ive stayed at this property many times, to be honest, if you want to find an excellent hotel but not break your wallet, then this is it.. Excellent excellent location, walking distance to the train / city subway station, walking distance to the famous night market.. food vendors and restaurants all over... Hotel personal are wonderful and great, they know how to guide you to everywhere you want to go.. Rooms are specious, clean/ comfort/ modern.. Price are very very reasonable.. Heres the only bad thing: its really hard to book the room , they are VERY VERY busy because of all the things mentioned above.. I always tried to look for them 1st whenever I need to come to Taipei but many times I cant find them with availability. So good luck guys... Overall I just love this place

    Best Location

    First time in Taipei and very happy with our stay in this Hotel. It is small but the location is very ideal especially if you plan to use MRT to go around. From the Taoyuan Airport MRT, we used the access to Beimen station (green line) which directly goes to Songshan station. No need to go to Taipei Main Station to transfer. Exit 2 was just across the road from the Hotel with an escalator going up. If you need to use escalator down just use Exit 1 a few meters farther as entry. Raohe Night Market is also just a couple of minutes walk. Hotel area is quiet even at night and there are banks just beside it so currency changing was easy even during a Saturday. Poya, Watsons and 7/11 are just a few meters away. Check in time is 3pm so we just left our bags at front desk together with our hotel voucher since we arrived early . When we returned, room key was immediately given without any delay. Front desk was helpful, quick and could communicate in English. Room was comfortable in size for Taipei standards. We got the bigger twin room with 2 beds since we did not want to feel cramped even with our suitcases open. We appreciated the premium toilet which had a heated seat among other settings. (we visited during their winter season). Bathtub might be a problem for those who have limited mobility or balance since it is not sunken. Complete bathroom amenities replenished daily. I enjoyed the scent of their liquid soap. Room was made up and cleaned everyday. Bottled water was given daily without fail. Room had a small ref, cabinet and safe. Bed, pillows and linens were all comfortable and clean. Only the breakfast was sad for me as I am not Chinese and the food selection catered to them. Stuck to breads with butter or jam or cereal for the duration of our stay. However, it was included in the room package so this is not a deal breaker for me. The price point was also very reasonable. Quite a steal given its location!

    Simple Hotel, Near Raohe

    The hotel is simply furnished and rather clean. The single beds in the twin room are really small, so I will not recommend it for people who are bigger in size. Breakfast is very simple with little variety. It was provided in my room package but would not recommend it at all. The hotel is near to many food places which are cheap and good. The air-condition at night is controlled at 26 degrees Celsius. As a result, it is too warm to sleep especially if the weather in the day was hot. Attempts at changing the thermostat are useless - this is probably done at the hotels central system as my colleagues at 5-6 other rooms experienced the same situation. The best things about this hotel are: 1) 3 mins walk to Raohe Night Market; and 2) 2 mins walk to Songshan station. Cant really complain because of the price - but there are really way better hotels in Taipei.

    Disgusting and the survice is unappreciated

    Disgusting, as you can see in the picture. Upon arrival the carpet has mold, used pillow blanket was hidden at the back of TV and the most disgusting is a "pubic hair" in a Jacuuzi tub. Room changing is unavailable. They offer to reclean the room but the carpet is still dirty after cleaning. Breakfast utensils was not rinse well. At check out time by the manner and the attitude of the front young male staff make it worst.
