  Nice and close to the ferry

  We drove from Victoria and stopped here the night before catching the ferry to kangaroo island. Its literally 5 minutes down the road. Cape Jervis is basically just a town that services the ferry from the look of it . There is nothing to do here really. We went across the road for dinner at the pub which was pretty good actually. Full of locals. Nice meal friendly staff.The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. Wifi tv all the usual amenities. Pretty dated but clean and comfy. Would recommend staying here as a point of departure to kangaroo island.

  Great spot

  We enjoyed a few nights here, check in to cabin was smooth and people were very nice. Breakfast provisions were fantastic and went down a treat. Units were spacious and comfy, they were very clean,,although the bathroom could use a proper scrub and the water goes everywhere( used a towel to block it)( i wont post pictures as i dont want to offend)The units have EVERYTHING needed just like being at home. There is a vending machine but over stocked with cherry ripes basically. Across the road is take away and 2 minutes drive to the KI ferry. Overall this is a great place and spot to get some relaxation and unwind there are only 5 units so its peaceful,,The pictures on here need to be updated as it has changed alot. Kids loved the play area although it needs a tidy up aswell. Will definately be back, Thanks for the easter treat :)

  One Night Stay

  We enjoyed a one night stay prior to boarding the ferry to Kangaroo Island & forgot to comment in the visitors book. The welcome was great and the unit was very spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. It is a few minutes to the ferry terminal. Important for long travellers to note there are no laundry facilities which is understandable given tank water and a very dry environment. The kitchen has hot plates, microwave and bar style fridge. Loved it and would recommend it accepting water is very valuable so you cannot do laundry, important for some travellers. The setting is also very nice. Buy food prior to arriving as no supermarket (and very little shopping) with only a small general store.

  Good stopover for Kangaroo Island

  Having had morning commitments and travelling from north of Gawler this property was the ideal site to stay at prior to boarding the morning ferry to Kangaroo Island. The unit was very clean and had all of the cooking requirements that were needed. Quiet location and nice native gardens. The host was very welcoming.

  Comfortable and in a great location

  We stayed here for one night before heading to Kangaroo Island the next day. The cabin was fantastic and had everything we needed. I actually wished I booked it for a few more nights as it was a great start to our trip and so comfortable! Highly recommend if youre heading to Kangaroo Island on the ferry or just want a comfortable cabin with a kitchen and tv. Added bonus if you love birds - there are so many Galahs and Corellas to see and hear!!
