  Relaxing Stay with Gorgeous Views

  My husband and I stayed at Cape Fox Lodge in late July 2020 for two nights. The Lodge was cozy and nicely decorated. It was very, very clean - absolutely spotless! The room had a refrigerator as well. The view was gorgeous! Staff were helpful and kind.

  Fabulous Stay

  My family had such a wonderful stay at Cape Fox! The staff were amazing! Thank you, Jacob at the front desk! The rooms were clean and comfortable, views were amazing, so convenient (walking distance) to downtown, and such a cozy lobby with fireplace overlooking the marina. The hotel restaurant had the best food and service! We loved it so much we ate there 5 or 6 times, breakfast, dinner, and once a lovely picnic lunch to take on our outing. We cant wait to return to the Cape Fox Lodge again next year! Thanks to all!

  Jennifer Coats was the Best Bartender!

  We ate dinner at Cape Fox Lodge multiple times and enjoyed the bartender Jennifer Coats! She gave us the best tips for things to do in the area. Highly recommend checking this place out. The ambience is great and there's a good selection of location beers.

  Just keeps getting better and better...

  I have been coming to Cape Fox for 7 or 8 years. Cape Fox was always OK but now it is wonderful. New management has completely remodeled the hotel and change the staff and attitude. Service is amazing and the rooms are comfortable and have great views. This really is the go to hotel in Ketchikan now. I love Cape Fox and the restaurant is superb.. If you need a hotel in Ketchikan try it, you will love it.

  Will not return

  2 start hotel trying to be a 4 star hotel. Lobby and rooms are beautiful, but service is not at the level of a nice hotel. There is a general attitude amongst many of the staff that is not welcoming. The tram doesn't run in the winter which is unfair since it is on the website. If it were running, getting to town is easy. Without it, there is a nice path, but it does get icy. Food is great-best in town, but again, service can be lacking. Al, Jacob, Pam, Ricky, and Nicole were awesome as was the daytime janitor. Otherwise, I felt like a burden as a guest. I asked to stay another hour and was told that it will cost me. I think that at $180 a night, they could "throw a bone" on that one. One night, I was kicked out of the lobby for falling asleep in one of the chairs! Again, nice hotel, but for the price, not that desirable. To be honest, skip Ketchikan and spend your money elsewhere in Alaska!
