  Dirty bathroom but good service

  The location and kindness of staff here was great. The breakfast wasnt worth $1, and the bathroom was dirty when I arrived. Overall the staff attitudes and the location made this property redeemable. I have a future stay planned and hope the experience will be better.

  No microwave bad bartenders

  I was there for 13 days. Check in was very rushed. I wasnt made aware of any of the amenities. No Microwave is available for guest even when youre there for a long period of time. Dont get me wrong there were some great great staff members!

  No microwave, bad fridge, expensive breakfast, poor housekeeping

  There is no microwave in any of the rooms. If you can track down a willing employee, they will take your food to their employee break room and shear it up for you. You might have to have them do it a few times to get everything warm, but it will get done...eventually. There was a fridge (in a drawer) but you could hardly tell it was colder than the room inside and nothing inside felt like it had been sitting inside a fridge all night. The breakfast is $19 for fruits, yogurt, beagles/pastries, and sometime some cold smoked salmon. No hot foods ever and hardly any protein. The restaurant has fancy foods that are made from local ingredients, but nothing normal. Everything has some weird twist to it like you are eating somewhere really fancy. If you are a tea drinker, they had two black teas and a chamomile. No plain green tea, no decaf tea. So be sure to bring your own if you want some. Housekeeping didnt actually clean the room, they just straightened it. Something was in the bottom of the class by my bed, and when housekeeping was done that same glass was sitting back on the clean shelf next to the others. The floor was not swept or vacuumed while I was there. The room appeared clean when I got there, but cleaning appears to be something they only do to prepare for new guests. They also might only be getting to you room to straighten it by 5pm, so you might expect to see them when you get back home in the evening. I had a wake up call set for every day in my 2 week stay, but after the first week it got turned off and I had to get them to reset it. The WiFi worked, but it randomly kicked me out once and wouldnt let me back in for 30min. Another time I got on my computer and it had disconnected and I had to restart my computer to get it to connect again. I thought it was just my computer but my coworkers had similar problems.

  Terrific Place!

  It's not like the other "Classic DC" hotels. The interior is nice, warm and welcoming. From the dark hardwood floors, comfy rugs to the terrific rain shower, everything was very nice. I had a great stay. It's nice to feel like your more on a trip out of the city when you get back to your room from being out in the heart of DC all day.

  Off The Cuff Stay

  My wife and I were just doing some quick Hilton searches and ran across this place. We had to ring a doorbell to get let in (which we liked) and was escorted to the check in desk. From there we got our key and went up to the room which was very nice, clean, and modern. Everything about this stay was great except for the fact that they dont serve any breakfast food. Other than that this place was great!
