  Perfect weekday break

  Being a regular Hilton brand guest and having read positive reviews I decided to try out Canopy By Hilton Al Seef for 2 nights during the week. First of all the hotel, staff, amenities and location all exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is very modern and spacious. Eclectic Modern would be the style that comes to mind. I liked the overall layout of the hotel, the use of indoor and outdoor space has been well thought out. Check-in was friendly and eager to recognise my Honors status, I was upgraded to a very large premium room with a large bathroom with separate bathtub and shower. The room itself had everything I needed for my stay. I made use of the gym on the same floor as my room which was very convenient and the swimming pool on the rooftop. The pool is much longer than the pictures suggest and the views are great. The staff poolside are friendly and eager to ensure you enjoy your time. The only meals I had time for were breakfast, its a choice buffet spread but due to Covid this is not self-serve, however thats fine, a staff member will serve you whatever you need. There are indoor stations and an outdoor live cooking station which again makes excellent use of the space. Many guests chose to dine outdoors and enjoy the river views. Breakfast for me was plentiful although I opt on the healthy side so there were enough choices for me. The staff make this hotel exceptional. The restaurant staff at breakfast are definately kept on their toes by the guests. There were some long term guests at breakfast and Some were quite demanding on the team, I didnt feel the need for it as the staff are very attentive. On one occasion I picked up a bowl of pineapple and some pieces were not quite ripe. The staff immediately went to the kitchen to rectify this and replace my bowl with perfectly ripe pieces and I didnt even have to ask. I saw some long term guests complaining to the on-site manager which I felt uncalled for, the complaints about the staff were petty (I overheard them) I know bad service when I see it but the team at this Hilton are amazing I seriously have no complaints. Finally the welcome note and cookies are a perfect little touch to make you feel even more comfortable in what is already a perfect hotel. Al Seef is an upcoming neighbourhood with great riverside amenities. Id recommend anyone to choose this hotel and no doubt I will be back soon.

  Work Stay

  The Canopy by Hilton is quite a quirky place to stay with modern décor that would appeal to those who like this new look. Hotel is situated right next to the Creek with a good waterside walk to the tourist area and onto the financial district . Staff offer a great service and are attentive to your needs. Yetty at Chapters Bar was extremely helpful and has a great manner with hotel guest.

  Never again!

  I am a Diamond member. I was upgraded to a deluxe city view room. Please see attached picture. It was right by the elevator and quite noisy. We were told that there were no suites available, while they were still able to be booked online. I do no appreciate being lied to. Also there were either 3 attendants or none. No consistency. Some staff were helpful but most were ambivalent. Breakfast was middle of the road. Expect cold coffee and warm juice. Lastly in times of COVID you would think k the room would be clean. Take a look at the picture of the air return. Overall this is not the Hilton standard that I am used to.

  The good hotel for vacantion in winter time.

  The hotel is cozy and comfortable, location of hotel is really good, if you are not looking for beach relax. This hotel located nearby old town and the creek, so there are walking road along the creek and old town, and also cafes with beautiful views on the creek. My compliment for staff, they are so helpful. Everithing is clean , every day cleaning of the room. Room is not so big, but the bathroom very comfortable for using, also amazing smart sistem , and sounds from tv in the bathroom, never have seem something like that before. There is also swimming pool on the roof with place fot sunbathe, its not for swimming, i would more say it comfortable for refreshing after sunbathe.Breakfast was great with eggs, vegetables, bekon, fruits, fresh juce.

  Amazing stay

  Amazing hotel, from the staff (especially Gamal, Deisy and Ahmed Said),to the rooms are great! Bed are so comfy. View is awesome from the room! Thank you for the Hospitality! Will definitely come again!
