  Stephanie was extremely attentive and friendly to me and my big family. She worked tirelessly to accommodate us and make us feel welcomed. Will definitely stay again due to her careful and persistent hard work.

  Updated Older Property with Great Staff

  This is obviously an older property but the owners have put time and money into somewhat-recent renovations. The hotel's photos of the property are pretty accurate, except for the expected wear that has happened since the renovation was complete. The property, including our room and bathroom, were very clean and either the staff actively enforced the mask mandates or I was just there with all compliant guests. The young lady who was working the front desk was friendly, personably, and provided excellent customer service. The air/heat was maintained pretty comfortably, although the unit could be a little loud when in use. The bed was very comfortable, and probably the reason for me giving that extra star for a rarely-given 5/5! I frequently wake up with a sore back or legs when staying in hotels, but I woke up the next morning fully relaxed and feeling refreshed. As for negatives, there really aren't many. The hand sanitizer dispenser on the 2nd floor either wasn't working or was empty. The hotel, while it has been updated, has retained the adjoining doors between rooms. Although they do have deadbolts on them, this concept is well past it's prime and I wish they had been removed during the renovation to provide more security for guests. The adjoining room was occupied, and I would have preferred if they hadn't placed guests in adjoining rooms during the current health situation. Finally, my complaint regarding the TV was that it does have additional HDMI inputs, but neither the remote nor the TV itself has any way of actually changing the input. I had to resort to slightly more creative ways of utilizing my own streaming device I bring with me to every hotel. Would I recommend this property? Absolutely!!!! If you're in the area, this is a great property at which to lay your head, and I probably will return at some point in the future. Even if you're technically visiting other parts of the Roanoke Valley, it's worth the drive to stay at this property.

  Ask for Victoria

  Excellent service and very comfortable stay. Great amenities and workers. For example, Victoria is definitely someone dedicated to her job. She definitely assist you anytime you need her. Also, her uncle berry was a fabulous bar tender. Makes for a fun and enjoyable evening.

  Thieves in Parking Lot Beware

  Parked overnight with my RV on 1/5/2021. Awoke to two missing bicycles removed from the rack on the back. Reported issue to Hotel Staff, they offered to call 911. I am traveling and don't have time or interest in reporting theft to local police who can do nothing to address the issue. Room had no toilet paper, and the sink was completely clogged, and would not drain. No breakfast offered due to "Covid".. other hotels manage to offer breakfast, in fact I just went down and retrieved a wrapped sandwich and some yogurt from the current hotel further south in GA. (Not Holiday Inn). The lobby was pretty fancy tho if you are into that .

  Amazing service

  Upon arrival we were greeted by Veronica at the front desk. All I can say is she was amazing. She was friendly, open and engaging. Answered any questions we had arranged for shuttle to and from the airport and made sure we were made comfortable. The rooms were very clean and inviting. It was just a wonderful stay and it all started at the front desk.
