  Last minute stay

  This was a last minute choice to stay here as my GF has been here several times and it was worth it. The room was spacious, enough linens for 4 people. Customer service there was good checking in. Minor room issues, towel/jacket hanger outside the bathroom by the kitchenette is broken and there was a hole/puncture on the bathroom door. Customer service on the phone SUCKED, from saying they were going to email the confirmation to spelling my name wrong on the folio. With good there is bad right, so Parking was horrendous, had to park in the fire lane because I had a small 12 trailer in tow, some moron parks on top of my trailer doors preventing from opening the trailer. The elevator, this is a concern, it quit working, had to reset a few times then was very slow to respond.

  Terrible customer service

  I walked in to make a reservation, and the lady immediately told me to put my mask over my nose. I told her I have a health condition and cant breath with it over my nose, at which time she looked back at the other lady behind her and told me I still had to have my nose covered. I still try to wear a mask to avoid confrontations such as this, but this lady was very rude and unprofessional. She even tried to argue with me about the mask thing the lobby had a funny smell and the entrance was not that nice, I went across the street to country inn and suites and it was a lot nicer and much more professional.

  Great

  We were in town for softball and all the rooms in Seguin were taken. This place has mixed reviews so I was a little leery as I am extremely picky about hotels. Our stay here was great. Tasha was awesome!!!!!! I dont know if shes management or what but she should be! Candlewood needs to have her train on all of their employees. Give that woman a raise! The beds and pillows were super comfy. The room was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay a smooth as possible. We travel to the area often for softball and would have no problem staying here again.

  Great Stay!!

  Tasha at the front desk was truly a joy! She made me feel like I was visiting a friend with her warm welcome and big smile!! She truly made our visit special. The room and property were clean. The bed was so soft and there was a full kitchen and excellent water pressure. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks again Tasha for your hospitality.

  Recommend

  We travel with our fur baby, so that limits our options. I appreciate Candlewood being pet friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Tasha at the front desk who was above and beyond friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in the door! The room was clean, plenty of towels, and I appreciate complimentary coffee. I would stay here again when staying in this area.
