  It is what it is!

  The is. Its an extended stay cheap hotel with nicely appointed rooms, but thats it! We were greeted by a handwritten sign. A gal came out of a back room and explained what is extra $. No housekeeping, no ... anything typical of hotels. Renting things you need is a new concept as well. Its the Southwest airlines theme of hotels. No frills. Its not my cup of tea, and to pay over $450 for a ND weekend was just painful! Not staying there again... overall, some people may find it just fine. I get the extended stay. I like breakfast and employees assessable. That is what its NOT!

  Potential, But Definite Staffing Deficiencies

  What did we like about your stay? Good bed, spacious, nice amenities and kitchen equipment. Staff replaced our linens that were badly pilling. What could have made our stay better: 1) A good address to begin with. Something is wrong with the addressing that phone mapping and Garmin GPS devices are extremely confused by. We were repeatedly directed to a wrong location. However, the front desk staff seemed oblivious to this issue, "Yeah, a lot of people have problems." By contrast, the Holiday Inn in front of the Candlewood was easy to get to so we ended up using that hotel's location on our GPS devices. 2) Front desk staff did not seem to know what time zone the hotel was located in and failed to call us when our room was ready. 3) Having to call the front desk to have linens replaced due to their terrible condition should not happen at a quality hotel.

  Tammy is the best!

  The lady who works 3rds named Tammy needs a raise! She went above and beyond to help my husband and I and I can't thank her enough! Very sweet and respectful lady! Nice hotel and room, accidentally booked the wrong hotel but couldn't be happier than that hotel. Definitely the new go to spot anytime we go, I think it's better than the DoubleTree downtown and this hotel is close to all kinds of spots. Thanks again Tammy your a sweetheart!!!! Hope you get a raise!

  Check your sheets

  My husband and I were initially impressed with the room, especially considering how economical it was. But I am writing this review as a caution to other travelers, which could apply most anywhere you stay. CHECK YOUR SHEETS. I pulled back the covers to see a faint stain on the fitted sheet, and further to see several hairs. Then I removed the sheets to find numerous blood stains on the mattress pad, which had clearly not been laundered. The night staff lady was very apologetic, brought new linens to us, and discounted the room. But...ick.

  Great value, found poor housekeeping!

  This hotel looks pretty amazing - we requested and received first floor rooms near each other (4 women traveling together) and we were impressed with full size appliances/kitchenettes. We all noticed a little dust and some spiderwebs, but we just dealt with it. The following morning, while sitting at the desk, I happened to catch a glimpse of what it looked like under my bed and was grossed out
