  We started out rough, but they made it right.

  We had a rough start to our stay, but the staff and management did everything possible to make it right. Everyone has off days and we understand that, so we were willing to talk it out and come to an agreement. The room was lovely with lots of room to move around and the hotel itself was quiet. I will visit them again.

  Nice Spot for an Extended Stay

  Honestly, I picked this hotel because it was close to family. I didn't realize it's more of a rental for weekly outings. That being said, it appeared nicely stocked with dishes and pots and pan. The bed and bathroom (my main concerns) were on par with most chain hotels that I stay in for a similar price. The staff was friendly and helpful. No AM breakfast because it's designed that you'll be using the kitchenette area. But, various restaurants are a short drive away.

  Very Nice hotel with very friendly staff

  We stayed at Candlewood Suites for two nights. We were a little early but god Our room right away. The room was really nice. A lot of space and a little Kitchen. Beds were comftable. Aircon was a little noisy but with earpluggs all is good. Beatrice at the front desk was really sweet and helpful. She really took her time to help us about what to see in the area. And we loved her cute little dog too. We Would stay here again with out a doubt when back in Corpus

  Vacation stay

  Thank you so much Beatrice Brandon and Christian. A big thank you to Christian for calling ahead and verifying our stay given us the room we wanted the floor we wanted everything. Beatrice thank you so much for everything you did all of our questions everything was perfect had all the answers everything was just great . I Brandon thank you so much for helping us out with everything making sure we had everything we needed . Hotel was perfect perfect location the rooms were beautiful I had everything you need the dishes the pots and pans tired refrigerator I mean it was everything was perfect . Thank you for all the staff everyone was friendly we are definitely looking forward to our next day we will be coming back. Thank you again Beatrice for everything. LASSETTER family .

  From the beginning to the end...a disappointment

  When I arrived the front desk check in guy didn't know wha he was talking about telling me I needed "orders" if I wanted the government rate even though I had told him numerous times I was a federal employee, not a military personnel. After a few minutes arguing and explaining to him that I was entitled to the government rate he finally relented after talking to the backroom employee (the one with the correct information) The room after I checked in was reasonably comfortable and clean. The showerhead in teh shower was so clogged up with hard water minerals that it barely spit out any water....they need to buy a whole hotel water softener. I would definately not stay here unless everywhere else was full.
