  Denied refund

  Booked a room here in August for the weekend of October 11-13. Was not told it was a special weekend. The only disclaimer was that upon cancellation, my DEPOSIT would not be refunded. I paid the entire amount of $372.38. I had to cancel because my husband had a sudden illness. I cancelled on October 2 on line. When I called to ask about my refund, I was told it was their policy not to refund when it was a special weekend. The hotel was entirely booked for the weekend of my reservation, so the hotel lost no money. The manager refused to give me a voucher for a later date. I feel Im being discriminated against because I am a senior citizen. My advice: DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

  Nice stay

  Tried this hotel for the first time while visiting IU but have stayed at other Candlewood's before. Convenient location close to the campus, about 3 miles away. Happy with the room. It was a typical Candlewood room, open and spacious. Will stay there again next time I visit the school.

  Clean and comfortable but realize what it is

  The hotel room was clean and comfortable and quite large. While advertised as a "suite", it actually was one pretty large room. There was a desk which was nice for doing work. The full-size refrigerator was a nice feature and overall the kitchenette was also nice. At check-in it was announced that this is an extended-stay location. Hence, there is no complimentary breakfast (there is free coffee in the lobby area, however) and housekeeping does not clean rooms on a daily basis. Further, if you use the in-room coffee maker, they do not replenish coffee supplies but you can ask for more coffee packs, etc. at the front desk. The place is pet-friendly so expect to hear a few barks here and there. Overall, the place was nice for a short visit to the IU campus. It also is 5-10 minutes from shopping (opposite side of town than the College Mall) and quite a few restaurants.

  Great customer service!

  I stayed at this hotel several times over a couple of months and it was consistently very good. The customer service was always great when Korey Jarmon or Hana King were working. These 2 individuals understand and are all about customer service which helps when you are away from home traveling for work!

  New year 2021 trip

  Was a late check in because after several hours on the road to get here we stopped for dinner, The young man at the front desk was very nice happy to see us and informative.The room was very nice lots of room clean comfortable great bed and pillows. Stove top range was a bit dificult to get going I purposly searched for several hours before booking this hotel because I SPECIFICALLY wanted a full kitchen because we were going to be here 3 nights. But however the BIGGEST disappointment was the internet was crap at best said on the sign in page you only had to sign I'll in once... once every 10 mins was more like it. wouldnt hold the connection, and at this moment I'm still sitting in my room dont check out for another 13 hours and im using my phone data because the login passcode no longer works. I assume because I'm checking out tomorrow and its after midnight???? Not sure but not happy I can no longer connect on my tablet and have to now use my phone to be on line :( so internet issyes is only reason I'd give lower rating in this case.
