  Good location

  I like the location of the hotel. Breakfast is good enough for me. Didn't expect much, so I was not disappointed with the food. Still worth what I paid for. I have to give an average rating though because I did not find our room too comfortable and clean. There were stains or some dirt on the walls. The comforter didn't look clean as well, so never used it while we were in the hotel. Other than that, it is a nice and decent hotel.

  Excellent hotel and highly convenient

  We went with another couples of good friends and the 4 of us stayed at Candeo Tenjin Hotel earlier this week. The staff were friendly and the rooms were modern and decent sized for city hotel. It was conveniently located near the shopping centre including the huge underground shopping mall. It was about 1.6 km from Shinkansen and very convenient for us to take fast train to other Kyushu cities. We did not request breakfast as there were plenty of choices within 5 minutes walk. Overall experience was positive and I would love to stay there agsin

  Nice & cosy with good location

  The location is great which close to station & shopping area. The room was clean, breakfast was buffet-based yet Japanese style (you may get the idea of Japanese breakfast from the model at the entrance of restaurant). The staff were nice, yet parking lot was limited so have to reserve in advance. Even so theyd provide another parking place close by with day parking max fee.

  Convenient location and rooftop spa, small room

  The hotel is walking distance to shops and boutique restaurants, making it an ideal location for those looking to maximize their time in Fukuoka, The rooftop spa is also a nice feature and comes in handy during those 'in between, down times'. Rooms are a bit small but practical, however unpacking/packing a suitcase can be a challenge if two people are sharing a room, Bathroom is also small, but again everything is practical.

  Was hoping for better

  The hotel is currently going through some renovations at the moment, but this is not the reason behind the three star rating. I think the hotel is a little out dated, esp items inside the rooms. For room key, they give you a three item bunch: 1) a physical key (old style), 2) a laminated card with address, wifi password, etc, and 3) a plastic stick that you use to slot in on the wall the switch the lights on, so it is quite a chunk yo carry around. Then, in the bathroom, the taps are still operated by two phyiscal nobs, one each for hot and cold water. The hot is so hot that it takes a while to get it to warm if you like your water like that. The service still great, breakfast very nice, and the roof top public bath amazing too. Just I feel the whole experience is a little out-dated.
