  Fabulous Dinner

  Amazing dinner, very attentive chef and staff as well as friendly, and so polite!! I would rate without a doubt 5 stars!! Really made for an amazing night for my husband and myself! Perfect presentation and the most delicious meal! Every aspect of the meal and experience was impeccable!

  Fantastic food and great / personable chef

  My family and I just had a great meal here. Surf and turf was the special which was fantastic. The other special was Halibut With mango salsa. Not only is the food great, the staff takes Covid seriously with proper distances between table, and masks worn by everyone. The chef John is extremely personable and came out to read the specials. Overall we had a comfortable and delicious meal here a true gem!

  Wonderful dinner at Canalside Inn

  We had the best dinner on our Erie Canal boat cruise at Canalside. The food was wonderful, wine a good selection and reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. There were many appealing options on the menus and specials. We had calamari as appetizer which was very tasty with a nice kick to the light sauce. I had salmon and shrimp ceviche which was very tasty and my husband had beef tornados which he said was excellent. While we had more than we needed to eat already, we could not turn down the deserts and shared triple chocolate mousse and key lime pie - both very good but key lime pie was the best. We also had a nice visit from chef John who was quite a treat to talk to - even though he is a Patriots fan! I would highly recommend this place and hope to come back some day.

  We recently enjoyed an overnight and dinner package with friends at the Canal Side and it was spectacular!

  Chef John and his staff could not be more accommodating. Our meal was over the top delicious and our room was cozy and inviting. We will certainly share our happy experience with others. And, of course, we will revisit this little gem in Little Falls soon!!

  5 star excellence

  I have lived in Little Falls for 10 years now and my wife has lived here her whole life. Neither of us have ever had dinner here for various reasons until now. Chef John was personable and professional. Hard traits to come by. The staff from entrance to our waiter were highly professional and impressive. I haven't even begun with the food. The surf and turf was amazing. From the cut of steak to the crab stuffed shrimp and to the elegance of presentation it all screamed out 5 stars. I forget that there are so many little gems right here in my hometown and this is certainly one of them. While it has certainly been a mistake on our parts that we have never been here, we certainly will not make this mistake again and are already looking ahead to a possible valentines day meal from here.
