  Title of your review: Excellent stay for couple in the tent.

  Your review: Our stay in Camping Finida Umag was excellent. We can say just positive on everything in this Camp. Already now we are planning to turn back next year. It was excellent, long ago we were on such leave . We liked very sanitary facilities, cleanliness and order.

  Very nice camping but unpleasant employee

  Camping with very nice pitch, quiet, good price and clean toilets/showers! The only negative point is a very unpleasant young woman at the check-in/ check out. She seemed to be irritated about everything, was annoyed when we told her we wanted to pay in euros and so on. It is a pity because we met a very pleasant and skilled man on previous evening. Without this, the rate for this camping would have been excellent!

  Weekend with friends

  We had a great end of the week with my friendy in Finida. The campssite is near the beach but the entry to the sea is very difficult becouse of the rocks. The facilities are quite good, sanatory was always clean. Staff at the reception could imrove their kidness to the guests.

  Croatia is rocky, don't forget heavy duty tent pegs!

  A great campsite, we pre-booked and this guaranteed a pitch on our arrival, we were asked to inspect the pitch (which was great) but could have changed it if we wanted. We knew this was a hard pitch with electric hook up (top tip: take heavy duty tent pegs and possibly a drill). There are plenty of clean/hygienic washing facilities on site although there is only one washing machine. The cost of using this is quite expensive compared with other campsites but the price does include a washing powder tablet. This wasn't of use as I have sensitive skin and have to use non-bio powder. There is a shop on site selling basic items and bread/croissant can be ordered here too and there is a gentleman who comes around the site during the day selling lovely cakes/donuts. The restaurant was lovely and offered a great selection of food/drinks at reasonable prices, you need to pay in cash (no card payments) and there is an ATM at the main reception. The sea was great to swim in but we were there during a heatwave and the recommendation was to stay out of the sun between 10am and 4pm - there were no shaded areas down by the sea either. The staff were all very polite and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay - would definitely camp here again!

  camp good if you have dogs and don't eat in the restaurant

  This was our 4th stay here. There are too many dogs now, but it is a reasonable site. Restaurant service has always been slow, but we left both the restaurant and the site after it took over 1.5 hours to get a drink . We gave up on the meal we had ordered. People before and after us received their meals. We felt the waiter did not like British people as the other diners were either Dutch or German. Beware.
