Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!DONT go there we paid 36 per night at the end of October so we could travel into Rome to sight see. They called it a campsite but it was more like a CAR PARK aloud music all night and a very very rude manager!!!!. Does anyone know hes name he was so rude and aggressive here is a photo of him and our camper surrounded by cars

Going to be the best in Rome maybe Italy. This site is developing as we speak, with new chalets being installed, and a massive new pool area, and there are other bits being developed as well, the chapel area is one. The staff are all very friendly, and are very helpful, even if it`s not to do with the site, they help as much as they can, it`s important to have a good team and have team spirit, they do. Even though the high season is done, the cleaning of the facilities is still done to high season standards, they are immaculately clean. We have a large caravan 7.3m and so some sites in Italy struggle to have a space for your car and awning, but the pitches here are huge. The restaurant has great staff helpful and friendly, it is very clean, and well designed, with great chandeliers, the food is a bonus, as the standard is very good, it`s just the high prices that let it down, I can pay 1.5 euros for my favourite beer at the supermarket up the road 5mins, or pay 5 euros at the restaurant, this is only my fault with the whole site. There are also good transport links to Rome, and you can get the site shuttle bus to the local train station. And don`t miss the site of Ostia Antcia, It`s better than Pompei, and when you have done that, try the local beaches out. I feel that it is a privilege to stay here, and see how the great staff and manager develop this site for the future, as I think it will be the biggest and best in Rome maybe even Italy. Well done to all of the teams, At Roma Capitol. So to sum it up get along now and see how this site develops as this will be the biggest and best in Rome maybe even Italy.

Theres something in the waterPlease be extremely careful when using the pool as both my husband and I suffered bacterial infections straight after using the pool and were very unwell. We also saw others with eye and ear infections from using the pool. Our holiday was ruined as I was so unwell I felt I would collapse with the pain in my ears. Just got home and have been prescribed a week of antibiotics.

Good location, facility and staff (most)Last minute plan to stay here as Italy was added to Green List. The campsite is very convenient for the airport and they run a shuttle bus, 2, to a train station for a trip to Rome. Our cabin was unbelievable clean, it seemed brand new and the AC is not free but worth it. The facilities are good, nice pool although they are building a better one, and football, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts. The staff are hit and miss, Gloria at the office is amazing and I would stay based on her service alone but others could learn from her too. The biggest downside, which may not concern many, is the WIFI, it is expensive 5 per day and hardly works. We had to move cabins because our first had no coverage, for me this is a necessity. The manager was very helpful and allowed me to sit outside his office where the reception was better when I had an important meeting. The food in the restaurant is also hit and miss, the pizzas were great, the chicken escalope poor.

Pleasant stay but not perfect! We have just returned from a stay in a mobile home on this site and are honestly sure not what to make of it. Firstly it was huge. We didn't have bikes or a car with us and it took us about 10-15 mins to walk to the reception or entertainment area from our mobile home. The camping areas were empty. This may be because of COVID but I note earlier reviews have said the same. Despite this the pool was very busy, and I suspect many visitors come from outside. They are building a second pool area but construction has halted. The restaurant and entertainment areas were very industrial- set in a huge expanse of concrete. It felt a bit like we were eating at a sport centre. The shop was poorly stocked and expensive. Restaurant food was ok, but service was poor. Had to attract attention of waiting staff every time. The poolside bar only served one type of beer - bottled corona. On the more positive side the site was very clean and well maintained. There is a shuttle bus to the beach, ostia Antic and the station which costs 2 euros per person. Alternatively you can catch an uber for 10 -12 euros. Reception staff friendly. Our children liked the play area. We liked Lido di Ostio and had some fantastic meals out and great days on the beach. Very convenient for the airport and also central Rome. I think we would return to the town, but am not sure we would stay again at the campsite, mainly because of its size and lack of atmosphere.
