Nice value for camping personsFirst of all I need to state that we a not normal campingpersons. The check-in was good. The mobile-home fine. Small issue with the hot water, but fixed fast. Facilities are good. What we miss is a quite area. A pool without high music, or a piece of grass where we could relax. Beach is really bad.

Good camp, fine beach, great walks on the cliffsThis was our second camp in the italian seaside and was better than the first one. Lavatory is clean, the camp shop provides everything you need (aperol, dry ham and great cheese) and the view from the cliff is amazing. I highly recommend the Rilke Trail, which you can follow right from the campsite. We were there by bikes, so the acces to the beach was easy for us - 2,5 kilometers down the road, riding back was harder :). But without bikes you can go by train to the sea and back. Sea was clean, beaches small and pebbly. Every night there was an animation program in the camp.

Great relaxing campsiteWe stayed here on a tour of Europe over 5 weeks and it was one of the best campsites we stayed in. There is lots to do a great big pool and whirl pool, shops and a fantastic cliff too restaurant at the end of the campsite which was a really nice touch. The campsite is busy and the best pitches seem to be take. With permanent pitches, but because the camp site has a good layout you can still see the see from lots of spots in the Second, third and fourth rows. Because it is on the cliff top there is a nice breeze and a regular shuttle bus will run you and all your gear to the beach. Definitely an option to consider if you are in the area.

Pay extra and noisy.Camping village mare pineta that should be called 'camping mega-city mare pineta' isn't worth the high entry price. There are only few camping spots - with very few shade. The rest are climatised bungalows. The camping is located at 1 km of the train rails. The camping allows people to drive their cars until 11 pm. There were a lot of unaccompanied youngsters who were noisy until late in the night. The camping management didn't seem to care. The management is more preoccupied by making loads of money. The entry price we paid was 23 EU (2p no car, only tent) . Want Wi-Fi? Pay extra (3.5eu/hour-1 device only). Want to lay down at the swimming pool? Pay extra. Want to swim? Buy a head cap. Want to play table tennis? Buy a palet and a ball. Want to go to the toilet? Buy toilet paper. Etc... This is not the way you do it, folks...

Nice after allThe camp is really expensive (paid double the price we paid for a camp in Austria providing the same services). Given that, you really expect basic stuff like toilet paper and soap. The excuse from the owners that you pay for what you need is dumb - then make the base rate cheap! We didn't have to pay anything for the swimming pool while other reviews mention paying. Yes you need a cap which I haven't seen before in pools like this. The reason really is not hygiene but profit for the onsite shop. But when you get over this, the camp is otherwise very nice. The kids playground, the trees providing shade for your rv or a tent. The showers are free (hey at least something) and really good. Access to the beach with kids is really only possible by train. We attempted to get there on bikes but gave up as the road is very busy and steep. The Rilke path is a must. It will lead you to the nice Duino Castle and then you can eat down at the bay. All in all after the initial disappointment from the price I'd recommend the camp as a nice place to stay and we'll probably stay again on our trips south (we'll make sure to bring swim caps).
