  WiFi Internet is free on Baia Azzurra. Internet speed is very poor and access should be done between 23:00-08:00 Outside specified timeframe will be a waste of time. New toilet area is perfect and clean. Old toilet area (not shown on any brochures) Needs additional cleaning

  Great camping place

  Our family of four stayed in this camping village for a brief weekend at the end of April. The campsite is beautiful and extremely well maintained and we definitely hope to come back in the future. We stayed in the 'Bungalow Trendy' that was at the very back of the site, so it was nice and quiet. The bungalow was new and spotlessly clean. It had a nice patio with table and sunbeds. The bungalow appeared very spacious with well equipped kitchen/sitting room area, a twin bedroom with extra bunk bed to make it a triple, a double bedroom with en suite toilet and a main bathroom with shower and toilet. All the areas of the campsite were very clean and well maintained. There were two big pools with separate children's areas, playgrounds, football pitch, tennis court, ping pong tables... The beach was a short walk away and there was a pushchair parking area and a place to storage the beach toys to avoid carrying them back and forth every time. The sunbeds at the beach were at extra cost. Unfortunately being only April, there was no evening entertainment yet. The bartender said it would start in June. We had dinner in the restaurant of the camping and it was nice. The restaurant is a pizzeria offering some pasta dishes and a couple of choices of fish and meat with quite reasonable prices. The crispy octopus dish was amazing! The breakfast buffet costs 7 euros per person. We opted for a coffee and croissant at the bar where the option of soy cappuccino and vegan croissant was also available. The nearby town of Castiglione della Pescaia is about 10 minutes drive away and it has lots of beautiful cafes and restaurants and lovely views over the landscape. The Baia Azzurra Club was a great find and excellent value and we will definitely return.

  Disgusted

  Great location and well kept, but the management and the way the camping is run is very poor. Despite the relatively high cost of renting a bungalow (comparable to a hotel), sheets and towels were never changed, and the rooms never cleaned. At arrival 200 euros CASH deposit were requested, refusing a credit card. Also, despite being in 2 people in a bungalow for 5, they refused to give us extra sheets unless under payment. For the price we will be choosing a hotel next year. Disgusted with this place

  NEVER CHOOSE THIS PLACE

  It's amazing how much the place doesn't match the information from the site! The houses (bungalows) are in disgusting condition - the rooms are tiny, not bright, with poor decoration. But the most disgusting is the MOLD that hits the camp - you will begin to smell it at the reception!!! It stinks even in its narrow, vile streets! It's unsuitable for placement even in constrained circumstances not for shirt stay away or holiday!!! Be sure at the reception the staff will not be in a hurry to return the prepaid amount, unless you show considerable persistence and will have the motivation for life or death. In front of our eyes 3 more families tried unsuccessfully to speak about getting out of that hole at the reception. Well, we were lucky somehow to get out of that Baia... Horror, guys - WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU TO MISS THAT HOLE. AND SUCH A SHAME FOR THE OWNERS THERE FOR KEEPING "THE CAMP" FOR PEOPLE IN SUCH A LOW & UGLY CONDITION! In addition we are not the onces who got used to stay in 5***** hotels so... Well, greetings from the Soviet past with mold and termites in the rooms and visitors resting on each other's heads. NEVER CHOOSE mark :(((((

  Great Vacations

  Well maintained complex with great bungalows in very good condition. We were here as a group and had half board in the restaurant in the complex. The food was typically Italian. The breakfast was rather sparse, fresh bread (baguette) and fresh fruits would have been a great addition. The staff was friendly, especially Roberto offered us excellent service! The staff did not strictly adhere to the obligation to wear masks. On the beach group games were forbidden and the volleyball field in the complex was in such a bad condition that it was useless. A beach volleyball field within the facility would definitely be an added value (a camping site further inland is a good beach volleyball field)! Thanks for the amazing vacations.
