  lovely shady site great pool

  stayed here for 1 week as part of a little tour of the area, the pool is fantastic on 3 levels, lots of beds all day sun, beautiful ice cream, cute terrace restaurant, wifi is great and free, has a shop although bigger supermarket nearby, the site is very steep but terraced, our caravan was part of eurocamp and adequate, private, quiet, shaded in places, had good parking, electric bike hire available, not too far drive to sea and a bus available, we visited elba, sienna, florence

  Unfortunately the bad outweigh the bood

  There are some really good points to this campsite so I'l start there. The location is magnificent, the scenery is stunning and nature at its best surrounds the place with the Tuscan hilils in the background. The staff at the restaurant at the restaurant are lovely and the kids entertainment man was also a pleasure and a very uplifting guy. Unfortunately the accommodation itself is not properly maintained, it was very dirty in parts (especially the bathroom) and when we arrived there was an awful smell and the place was covered in huge ants (which pretty much remained for the whole holiday). The bins are overflowing and not properly looked after . The 'kids club' is a bit of a mess and the tables and chairs are dirty as well as the bouncing castle. There was no activities for kids there at all until the last few days when there was some painting but that was it. At night time there is a bit of a disco and dance for kids but anyone who is a regular at campsite would find this really under par and a bit lame in comparison to other sites that really cater for children.   Very pleasant stay!

  Very nice and proper camping. Restaurant is really good for a camping. Very nice & helpful waiters, best food in Toscane weve had! Good job you guys!! For the guy of the animation, where do you get all that energy from?? You rocked! Thanks for a great stay!

  Fabulous family summer holiday

  Wonderful family summer holiday. Great site with lovely pools for all ages. The splash pool looked new with an awesome slide. Even in the peak of the summer never a problem to get a sun bed. Helpful that the pool was gated so people couldnt put out towels before it opened at 10. The site was very well maintained and the kids entrainment was full of energy. My son took park in the football sessions which ran most days. Two amazing live shows, one with fire and the other with bubbles. The location was brilliant. We didnt use the beach bus as we had our own transport. The local beach was nice but the restaurants were expensive we preferred san Vincenzo which had lovely soft sand and very shallow seas great for kids to play in safely. The local theme park at Cavallino Matto was awesome with lots of new rides and no queues. Well worth the money. I would suggest booking directly or with Eurocamp, our experience with select camp wasnt great.

  Bedbugs, mice and no service

  No service after complaining about bedbugs and mice. Left couple of days earlier, had to e-mail the manager to complain, after 5 e-mails and 2 Facebook messages still no respond. Its a shame cause its a Nice campsite, kids enjoyed the pool and entertainment. But never coming back here, this was not a glamping experience. We had the xxl air Spa number 80, dont sleep in that tent it has bedbugs.
