  Good vlue for money

  The room was comfortable, clean and functional which is all that we require at this price. Checking in and out was painless. Location is handy for local amenities. We were only up for an overnight stay and this hotel ticked all the boxes for what we needed.

  One night only!

  Please bear in mind the price youre paying for this hotel, its NOT the Ritz, the carpets are thin, the paint is chipped, the sealant around the bath is shoddy, the grout could do with a good scrubbing, most things look old & tired.... BUT its ok for a night in a comfy enough bed, it was warm, the water was hot, shower powerful, the towels were clean and there was facilities to make a cuppa (albeit in a paper cup). You get what you pay for.

  Stayed four nights

  Rooms super basic but have what you need, chairs could do with updating, Staff excellent and very friendly made to feel very welcome. food superb and a good variety. Positions can be a bit small depending on the chef. Chap we had went out of his way to make us happy

  Absolutely Fantastic!

  The staff here are out of this world. They have reopened their restaurant this week and I have dined there every night. The food is great value for money with amazing service from the chef Nikita. The rooms are spotlessly clean, very comforting in this day and age. Will continue to come back as this is my favourite spot in Wakefield!

  Great Hotel

  The staff at this hotel are warm, friendly, professional and very helpful. The location was ideal for my purposes (business) and the rooms (I stayed in 2 different rooms) which come with a really comfortable bed, dining room and reception area were all spotlessly clean. I ate in the restaurant and the service was excellent, my food, which was well cooked and delicious, came fairly quickly and was delivered by the chef who was really nice and cheerful whilst making sure I had everything I needed and that my food was to my expected standard. I have read reviews about this hotel that I feel are very harsh. The hotel is a tad dated in places but it is genuinely excellent value and the staff certainly make up for any deficiencies with excellent customer service. This is my second stay here and will definitely be back.
