  Solo para un par de noches.

  Estuve aquí en noviembre de 2004, por motivos de trabajo. Está cerca de París (20 minutos en coche). Recomendable pasear por el centro de Brie-Compte-Robert: muy bonito. En cuanto al hotel, es funcional, sin nada más, lo que corresponde a este tipo de hoteles y a su precio económico. Yo lo usé sólo para dormir. La habitación correcta en general.

  Average hotel for an average price

  My wife, my 20 months old son and I stayed at the Campanile Brie Comte Robert for two nights and had what we paid for. The room was quite small but had a modern and fresh (at first) style, with a flat screen TV and coffee facilities, and en-suite bathroom. It looked like it had been recently renovated (although rather cheaply), or renovated a few years ago (and starting to decay). Insulation was not that good, and since the hotel is in a commercial area close to a frequented highway, it could have been a problem. We were tired, and the beds were pretty good so it did not affect us that much. Free and functioning WIFI in the room, that's a good point. Breakfast buffet was good. However, no safe in the room, so we had to carry all our stuff on us all the time. The outside of the hotel badly needs renovation. The person at the reception did not read our booking properly or completely and forgot that we had asked for a crib in the room. Fortunately, they had one in stock. To sum up, nothing unexpected for a chain hotel at this price. It was clean, convenient, and we had two good nights sleep.

  A memory I am trying to forget

  I was advised it was an OK place to stay for the night, but I hardly managed half an hour in the room and preferred to stay in my car instead. It smelled like people smoked in the room, the carpet and the bathroom were not cleaned very thoroughly, but the worst part was the feeling you are sleeping almost on the street. The door of the room led to the outside parking. (I was at ground floor) The outside light was pointed straight at my window and anyone passing could look inside or if they even wanted to give a slight kick on the door enter straight in the bedroom. I closed the shutters, but could still hear people passing by and talking, it was totally impossible to relax and sleep, so I went sleeping in my car instead.

  Over priced, strange hotel

  stayed one night business trip, this is a very tired old hotel, rooms are scruffy and a poor standard, the service was good, but let down by the hotel itself, in todays market for nearly 100 you can and should get a lot better, never again by choice

  Value, A/C & location is why I come back!

  I travel to Brie-Comte-Robert every summer and have stayed in a few other local hotels. This one is my favorite but it still has it quirks. The rooms are significantly larger than most. Finding a hotel with A/C in Europe is difficult. This one has it - and the unit actually pushes out cold air "by US standard". (not always the case.) The quirks: even though the rooms are "non-smoking" - they ALL smell like smoke. I travel with concentrated room spray & spray it directly INTO the A/C unit & on the carpet when I arrive and each day when I leave. The shampoo, conditioner amenities that you're used to - not a thing in Europe. Bring your own. As well as washcloths. This is a small town, so not all of the staff speak English. They try their best! And the staff are are really nice and want to help. This is a great central Brie location. You're across the parking lot from HyperU (think Wal-mart/K-Mart with a full grocery) but they close at 8:30p and aren't open on Sunday. McDonalds & Quick are walking distance fast food. Courtepaille is as well. It's like a French Applebees. Marie Blachere is a bakery & cheese market down the street. SO GOOD!!
