Not worth the moneyBooked 8 rooms for 165,00 + 1,20 per night for two nights. - English of the staff is very poor - Bar closes at 21:30 - Rooms need to be renovated. - Hard to find with navigation - yelling and running people at 03:00 in the morning. - take away breakfast? Yes? That will cost you 10,00 each extra. The last one made my day. Breakfast starts at 07:00 we wanted to eat at 06:30 because we wanted to be somewhere at 07:00. That was out of the question! They could arrange a take away! I had to collect it the evening before so it wasnt even fresh. Have seen a lot of hotels but this is definitely one of the poorest Ive slept in.

Bon voyage FranceGreat value for the price. Ideal overnight before a ferry or tunnel to UK. Calais is an hour away. Secure car parking Good food in the restaurant. Starters and desserts are too notch! Very good breakfast. Warm and friendly staff. Free wifi. Dogs accepted, in rooms and in the restaurant. Rooms are basic, but comfortable. Good sized bed. Great shower. Tea and coffee facilities in room and a TV and a bottle of water.

Overnight stay-didnt happenBooked this hotel as it had good reviews and convenient, I arrived late which I put on the booking, to find no one there, the reception door locked and the 24/7 self check in machine off and not working, after knocking and ringing for two hours I ended up staying in my truck, the place advertises 24 hour check in???? Not happy and will not be recommending or using this company again!

ConvenientThe rooms are very dated, but clean. There's not much storage space, but for a quick stop this hotel is adequate. Also there is a paucity of tea and coffee and milk in the rooms, plus nasty plastic cups. Breakfast buffet is excellent - no need to go hungry before you leave. Same with the evening meal where you can stick with the buffet choices or add on with the day's menu. Tip -avoid the chicken pasta for two - it just doesn't work.

Prison CampanileLike all other Campanile Hotels that I have stayed in France, this was a cell-like room with rough walls and with few facilities. The bedside tables are 20cm wide and it is not possible to walk normally between the bed and the adjacent wall on one side of the double bed. Booked for two adults only one bath towel was provided (a second was freely given on request). For some reason, allegedly due to Covid, the kettle and "hospitality tray" had been removed. The bed was comfortable but only two very small pillows were provided. The restaurant was closed due to Covid. It really was how one imagines a prison cell in size but with a key! It was more expensive than a UK Premier Inn but does not compare. If all you want to do is sleep and go then it's OK but I don't want to imagine what the adjacent Première Classe Hotel, which is even more basic, provides in terms of room size and facilities. The restaurants at Campanile - open in normal times - sell themselves as gourmet but are just not. The food they do provide is almost as basic as one can imagine. It's quite sad, really, because fifteen years ago the food was OK - the rooms are described as "New Generation" but haven't really changed except the bedside lights are a little better. On a positive note, the free WiFi is quite good. The hotel is on an Industrial estate.
