    Viaje Boston

    Midweek getaway

So my Girlfriend and I work a very busy summer schedule. Retail and Hospitality. We decided a trip to Maine will be for rest and relaxation. What a place. We had a water view room with a deck. Natalies was excellent. Tim the manager was helpful and Kind. the entire staff was great. We had Aidan his 1st week as server and bartender. He was very nice young man. The room is so comfortable . I highly reccomend. I was offended by many of the local shops. Too many political statements in the storefronts. Like Black lives matter. I don't go in the stores. All in all the best thing about Camden is the Camden Harbour Inn !!!! 5 stars

    simple elegance

What an amazing experience! From check in, through dining and check out, The experience was 5 star and world class. Gilbert at the registration desk gave white glove service throughout our stay including much n eeded assistance with our bags, fireplace lighting, dinner reservations, and supplied us with board games and books. No request was ever denied, the word " no" is not in his vocabulary. Regarding Natalies: waitstaff, sommelier Steven, Sven the Maitre went above and beyond making our evening dining experience memorable each and every evening. Chef blew my mind with his creativity and play on basic concepts. Truly a michelin experience in small town Maine. Highly recommend the taste of Lobster with premium wine pairing (Steven's knowledge of world wines astonishes and delights! One of the most fun dining experiences I have ever had.) Please please please do yourself a favor and boof yourself a stay at this Relais & Chateaux property. The dining was so incredible that I broke my own rule of never dining twice in the same restaurant and did just that because the experience was just that good.

    1st Class Experience

Stayed one night in mid-December and had a great experience. As soon as we were in the door, all the staff were super attentive and made us feel very welcome. They even lit our wood-burning fireplace for us and supplied enough wood for the evening. I also want to mention the very high quality meal we had at the onsite restaurant, Natalie's. Highly recommended.

Planning the next visit before we even check out!

Visited mid-February. This was our first time away from home since things went sideways in March 2020. We felt completely at ease with the well-thought-out and executed precautions and procedures this property has in place during Covid. The staff was first rate- well-trained, professional, warm and discreet. Our room was perfectly comfortable and well-appointed. The food and dining experience was fantastic and deeply memorable. Knowledgable, friendly and super-fun sommeliers! We have visited many older properties over the years where the "charm" has long since given way to glaring deficiencies. Not so here- this is an old and historic building that has been well maintained and continuously upgraded. And as far as we're concerned, the cocktails are the best in Maine! Mike the bartender is an inspired artist in mixology. Wow. You know it's a great place when the only chink in the armor we could find are the almost comically unconformable barstools. We decided this is by design to keep the patrons rotating as much as possible.
