  Headed to baseball tourney

  We arrived late at night and were greeted immediately at the front desk. Large sitting area with bar. Unfortunately, we were too tired to head to bar, but looked like a happen spot. Large and spacious room. Plenty of room for three of us. Had a room with two double beds and a pull out couch. Very modern and well kept. When we checked out attendant was so friendly and asked if there was anything they could do better. This was such a pleasant surprise and I couldn't honestly think of one thing to make better.

  Could've been worse

  We checked in Feb 16, 2020 for 1 evening. Just a local stop for some work and a chance to be out of the house after a busy few weeks. The beds were the best firm ever. I need a solid mattress and those didn't disappoint. The room itself was cleaned well enough. Everything was shined and polished. There were dirt bits under the bedspreads, but the beds passed basic inspection. The sink in the bathroom was terribly slow. You couldn't wash your hands before it'd be full. The wet bar had another issue entirely. The whole faucet and knob/lever were loose. not a wiggle, but very, VERY loose. Some stains on the carpets and broken/missing curtain pulls as well. Overall, I must say, very nice staff. Andrew was great at check-in, and the woman working the check out was polite and smooth. The breakfast is $10 for 1 person, for the same things you get free literally EVERYWHERE else. My suggestion is NOT TO GO HERE. For the money you're going to spend, it's not AT ALL worth it.

  Love this hotel

  I believe this is my 5th stay in this hotel. Cambrias are my favorite of the Choice Hotels chain. I search them out and stay if at all possible. This location is great, especially since the best ice cream shop is right across the parking lot. So good! Anyway, always friend staff. Janelle has checked me in multiple times and actually remembered me tonight (its been a month or two between each trip) which I thought was really sweet and impressive. Always clean. The only thing that seems strange is the TVs are small. I dont even use the TV so I couldnt care less. But I stay in a lot of hotels and these days a large one is pretty standard and these are super small. Comfy beds, which is way more important to me.

  Needs to make updates to website while booking a stay

  I have stayed at Cambria Hotels in Columbus, Canton and the Atlanta Georgia areas on many occasions. As well as other Choice properties. I made a reservation on Saturday morning 10/17/2020 for a little one night staycation for my family. Before I arrived the cost of the stay was already charged to my bank account. When we arrived I started the check in process. When I handed the clerk my drivers license and Visa debit card she returned them to me and stated "We only allow CREDIT CARDS for incidentals." Shen showed me a sign posted at the front desk with the policy. I then explained that there is NOWHERE on the website that explains this policy. She agreed and said that it isn't. This after they have already deducted my money from my account. I totally understand that this is there policy and they have the right to have what ever policy in place for their property. However, if this isn't conveyed to the guest at booking and you have traveled 50 plus miles to the property this is very bad business. There was no remorse or apology for the inconvenience by the clerk. Then she ends the conversation with "Oh yeah we also will take about 5 business days to refund your money." What a kick in the face. I warn everyone not to give this property any of your money, time or business.

  Sparkling Clean

  Everything looked very clean and sanitary. When we arrived our door had a "seal" indicating that it had been sanitized. We had points so upgraded to a two bedroom. It was an awesome accommodation, but didn't have 2 bedrooms that were separate from the living area (which is what we thought it would be) It was more like a King studio with another separate bedroom. There was a mini kitchenette, small sectional with TV sitting area and then a king bed behind the wall with the TV with no door. Then there was a separate door into a separate bedroom. Everything seemed new and clean with great decor. Pull out sofa wasn't very comfortable. Loved the huge shower. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely stay again and have recommended to others.
