  Good for playing at grand park

  This hotel is conveniently located across the street from grand Park. You can walk to some of the fields but not all of them since its such a huge complex. Pros: -new -clean -comfortable beds -good workout room Neg: -no sofa sleeper or rollaway beds (but there is a small slim couch in the room that a small child could sleep on) -rooms seemed poorly lit -bar and restaurant closed currently. No free or discounted brkfst items at all - the food for purchase in the lobby is overpriced and very small selection -management was difficult to get a late checkout from. Im sure there werent many people checking in on Sunday b:c all the teams were leaving and they still wouldnt give late checkout

  Baseball Tournament Stay

  During our stay the elevators and ice machines did not work. Due to COVID restrictions, which I understand the kitchen/bar are closed. Most hotels are offering brown bag to go juice/fruit in the mornings for the inconvenience. I spoke to the hotel regarding my stay and they were not only rude but very defensive. Go some where else and save your money.

  Great spot!

  Great hotel. Great location! Donna at the bar was unreal! If you are at the bar ask for her! Also Jordan was a great guy to ask for advise around town. The staff is top notch, even during Covid! Donna was amazing night in and night out and the staff overall was great. Zero complaints coming from a head coach of a U12 hockey team.

  Very nice placeif you can avoid sporting events

  Positives: Modern, newer, comfortable including the bed, attractive except for one wall papered to look like a 50 year old urban bridge underpass (other side had very neutral wallpaper), nice sized high quality TV, Keurig, microwave, mini fridge (its the smallest size, though, so dont plan on bringing much), accessible shower was very nice, large backlit mirror was also a nice touch at nightenough light to serve as a night light but not bright enough to keep you awake Negatives: no free breakfast at all, mini market available downstairs but $$$ (we brought our own breakfast but forgot milksmall bottle cost $3), no liners in the trash cans (why for the love of Pete?), swimming pool was way way too cold to use (a shame since its nice sized) If you are coming for business or personal reasons, call ahead to be sure they are not hosting any sports teams. The gentleman at check in told us they are 90% of their business. Theres a giant multisport complex across the street. We got lucky and it was nearly empty. So peaceful. But the next day they were expecting a large wedding party! Lucky again. We just wanted a day of peace and quiet that wasnt another day stuck in our house, and we got it. We ate carry out from Wolfies Grill. Its rated a 4 and thats about right. Ive had better meals, and certainly Ive had worse. I enjoyed my fried cod. My husband said his burger was okay. Suggest alternative side instead of the cole slaw, though. It was unusual.

  Nice hotel near the sport complex

  We stay at the hotel for the tournament. Hotel is nice and modern. Room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom is very nice too. A lot of outlets strategically located around the room, so no need to bring your own power strip. The only issue is soundproofing. If people walking upstairs, you can hear and feel every step. If people are talking in hallway, its like they are in your room.
