  worst experience in the Philippines given by Camayan resort

  . F&B . ! I've been residing in the Philippines quite long time and this is my first ever resort that majority of employees are racist. When we arrived at the resort, the front desk staffs were perfect. I got comfort and prompt service from front desk staff 'Joje' at the evening bar staff 'John' was very friendly but most of F&B staffs were terrible. the dinner was not the worst but the breakfast was the worst experience. even later commers were served first and all the servers try to ignore us as if we are invisible. all the requests were ignored also. I really pity Room's division and back of the house staffs since they are doing great but their co-workers are the least qualified F&B staffs. I bet they would not try to fix their problems and ignore all this otherwise they had been improved long before when served other customers back in the past. What more can I say its just.... too much bad experiences from the F&B staffs

  ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED. DO VISIT.

  - friendly, welcoming service from reception and housekeeping. will be able to receive any extra toiletries requested. special mention to Rogelio and Ads from The Reef for always serving with a smile (be patient, the pandemic has not been kind and the remaining staff are doing their best) - breathtaking beach, perfect for swimming with the fishes. i have practically grown up here, and will never get tired of its beauty. - rooms have been sanitized from top to bottom (i have witnessed the cleaning process) - stargazing on the beach at night is a must

  Amazing

  Spent Christmas with my husband. Beach is still clean, service amazing. Our server Sarah Pellas was so accomodating. Easy drive going to Subic as well. Can't wait to go back Rooms are great too. Clean. Ambiance is amazing

  Hmm okay.

  Pros: 1. Very friendly staff. No doubt about it. From the reception down to the restaurant, everyone's accommodating and courteous. 2. While booking, there's a field in their form where you can state if there is a special occasion ehy you're traveling to their resort. Without expecting anything, I noted that it's our anniversary. Surprisingly, without added cost, we got to the room with a simple balloon set up that comes with a greeting card. Truly appreciate this. 3. Life guards are always on deck. At least during our stay so we really felt safe considering we were swimming with a child. 4. They noted my request to conjoin the 2 beds. We're happy that our room was ready upon our arrival as requested. 5. Check in and check out was a breeze. Cons: 1. One of the 2 queen sized beds was squeaking loudly. Every small movement entails an annoyinh squeaking sound. Since we were with a 1-year old, we had a hard time sleeping because she keeps on waking up everytime someone from the other bed moves even a bit. In the end, we decided to squeeze the 3 of us in one queen sized bed. Mind you, we're only 2 adults but we're not of regular built so imagine the discomfort. We slept so late and, as consequence, woke up late as well. We didn't get to enjoy a relaxed breakfast and swimming time since we're rushing. We requested for a late check out but they can only extend 30mins. which I understand because there will be people who will check in after us. 2. The floors were dusty even when we got there. You can't walk around barefoot and jump in the bed without having to dust off your feet first. Actually, you can't walk barefoot at all anywhere inside the room. Period. 3. For some weird reason, there were scotch tapes on the ceiling. I seriously don't know what they were for.

  Great eascape to this pandemic-Camayan Beach Resort

  Rating this recent trip at 4/5! Camayan Beach Resort exceeded my expectation! Thought all beach resorts in subic were the same (black sand, dirty shore line, etc.) but Camayan was different! They had almost white sand, great shore line! perfect for my kids first experience to the beach! Room is great as well we booked the deluxe room in agoda cost about 6500 which is good for 2 adults, if you have kids with you, you will be paying an additional 350.00/ea (1-12 years old) then an addtl 1000.00 for adults (12 y/old+). Payment for the room and addtl pax includes complimentary breakfast which is superb big servings of your breakfast choice- tocino/longganisa/corned beef/bangus with scrambled eggs and unlimited juice/coffee. Staff were great! Shoutout to Edmar who happens to be our cabalen and Reese too! Very corteous and accomodating! All requests are catered thank you guys We also had dinner at the reef where food choices start from 200. The carrot cake was a bomb! They also offer day tour in which i guess most of the locals avail, proper sanitary and covid 19 measures are followed- wearing of facemask if not on the water is needed. They follow Subics guidelines when it comes to safety requirements, ID and proposed itenerary (proof of booking) are the only things needed if coming from MGCQ areas and if are staying <4 days (oh since we took sctex route QR Code is not needed but if you are taking the OG Road then QR code is needed and some additional requirements-please check bataans safety guidelines). Please call them directly if coming from GCQ area thought i read that swab testing is needed but im not that sure. Overall stay was great! It was refreshing after not being able to go out due to lockdown! Beach was great! Water was clear and you can even see fishes swimming around with you! Thanks Camayan! We will definitely go back!
