  Good hotel to stay in Tamatave

  Helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower which is something that you can only find in a luxury hotel. You can make tea or coffee in your room and they also offer a complimentary bottle of water. I had the dinner in the hotel and the food was good. I can say that the fish was the best I ate in all Madagascar. The negative sides: 1) The staff were slow to serve the food on time, 2) the breakfast in the morning was very limited, 3) It was too noisy at night (hammer sounds late at night and very early in the morning) so I could not sleep.

  The Best Hotel In Tamatave

  From the moment of arrival the staff made me feel welcome and were very professional. I was fortunate to have booked a suite on the 3rd floor which very clean throughout. It was spacious with a large walk in shower, can't understand why no bath though. One little niggle was the open air terrace and flies. A lovely place to have lunch but you are joined by lots of flies. I am sure it would not be to expensive to have those blue light anti fly units. You can of course dine inside but you will still be joined by flies...not as many There was a problem with the electric to the room, nothing dangerous, the fuse tripped out. BUT the maintenance staff were at my room within minutes with a supervisor who documented everything. The same problem happened the next night and again the staff were there within minutes. They offered me a similar room on the lower level but as it was my last night i declined. It DID NOT cause me any inconvenience and it was just one of those things. I have stayed in luxury hotels where problem have occurred and it's taken hours for anyone to attend. Also as a gesture of goodwill the manger did not charge me for an extra breakfast and local taxes. Not a great amount but it's the thought which was very much appreciated. I look forward to my return visit in July and for a longer stay. I would not think about staying in another hotel. well done and thank you "Calypso"

  Exchange rate

  The hotel is quiet good and the staff very friendly. I wanted a good experience that's why I stayed in your hotel for three nights. My only complain arrived at my departure. I wanted to pay in Euros or US Dollars. The exchange rate used by the reception staff was ridiculous. Everywhere I went is Madagascar the exchange rate for the euro was near the 3.900 and the USDollar 3.700. Your reception made the exchange in US Dollars below the 3.000. Sorry but that made my stay very disappointed. I don't think your hotel should take advantage of their clientes on that manner. Regards

  Excellent stay

  Great stay. Amazing staff. Clean and comfy rooms. Really good food. Highly recommended. Nicely located as well. Facilities are really well kept. Staff is really helpful. Not really suitable for kids. Would def come back YES!
