  Amabilidad y excelente playa !!!

  Llegamos antes de tiempo, y nuestra sorpresa fue que nos dieron la habitación sin problemas.La habitación es sencilla y necesitaría alguna remodelacion, pero es lo de menos.La playa esta cerquita del hotel, con tu zona con sombrilla y tumbonas, aguas cristalinas y casi como una piscina, puedes entrar 50 metros y no te cubre, la piscina esta bien para darte un bañito después de la playa.El desayuno muy bueno y sobre todo con un servicio excepcional.Merece la pena por la amabilidad del personal y por su playa expectacular

  Excellent hotel hotel & resort in the beautiful laguna of cala liberotto

  We spent 2 weeks @ Cala Ginepro hotel last summer in August, and our holliday has been very pleasant and confortable and we enjoyed the structure and the staff. The hotel is a real 4 stars structur and the Italian food was very good. We stong recomment to spend a week in this structure during your Sardinian holydays

  A beach indulgence

  This was a restful beach retreat. The hotel complex has its own beach with parasols and sun beds (free to hotel residents). The service was good, staff efficient and friendly. We went full board and the food was excellent. Our room was average size with a safe, fridge and balcony. It was cleaned immaculately and unobtrusively everyday. Unfortunately we were close to the stage where outside evening entertainment for children was quite noisy but finished st 11pm. We went in August so the complex was full of families and children were well catered for by the animateurs who are multi-talented and very patient. The bay has clean shallow water for 50metres. Pedaloes and canoes are free for 30 mins. On the same beach you can also have wind surfing, paddle boarding and surfing lessons which are chargeable. For us this was purely and simply a beach holiday and it fulfilled our hopes. We will definitely return. We went with Sardatur Holidays.

  Family holiday

  We were a little hesitant as there were some bad reviews on here from brits but we had a great time. The food is excellent, really great Italian food. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small but otherwise fine. The pool was fab and the beach lovely too. Theres a 5 minute walk through a nature reserve to the private beach which was very tranquil. I really enjoyed being amongst lots of Italians who were very polite and friendly. Id highly recommend this resort and had no negative issues. Some have had concerns about a pay card but this didnt cause us any trouble. Likewise we didnt have to pay 90 euros to use the beach for the week, no idea where this has come from!

  Retirement home - not a hotel. Many hidden costs and service restrictions

  We were so excited when we booked this hotel. From the photos everything looked amazing and had exactly what we were after for this holiday: secluded place, nice and spacious rooms, great facilities, fantastic beach, food...in other words - a perfect get away place. But.. the reality was quite different... Our room was tiny, not even close to the photos on their website, I would say it was just about half the advertised size. No WIFI in the rooms either, it worked only in the reception area. To my husband's horror the gym was 25eur per day as it was part of the spa. Seriously? A total ripoff. The presence of the gym was the reason that we chose this hotel in the first place. There is no information about these additional costs on hotels website which made my husband extremely furious. Beach towels were available for 6 each day, plus additional cost to have it washed. The restaurant was a buffet style and had large variety of good food (gave 3 stars to this review because of it), but to get to it we had to fight with a huge crowd of hungry and angry pensioners...and there were A lot of pensioners, we felt like in some kind of retirement home or a hospital, very strange (we are in our late 30s so no teens looking for a party place so we felt very weird there)...Dinner was available from 8.45pm till 9.00pm. 1,5h to eat in Italy, seriously?No food was available after 9.15pm so one night we were left without dinner after getting back at 9.15pm. I was furious as it cost us 65eur for the offsite dinner and we were not offered any refund. Another strange thing were hotels animators, young kids in their late teens trying to sit and get drunk with hotels guests at all times. I mean, sure, I am ok to offer you one drink while you try to entertain me by talking over and over again about yourself (big baggage of barely 20 years of life :) ), but i was not ok to buy you drinks every night..plus, drinking on the job is not OK in my opinion. Is it even legal? Bar did not accept cash or any bank cards. To get drinks you have to go to the reception and get a pre-paid card, and you better don't lose it, because its equal to losing your wallet. Our biggest disappointment was the beach as it was full of sea weed. I know, it is not hotels fault, but to add to all other disappointments it was a bit to much. Thank God we had a car and could go to other fantastic sea weed free beaches. For us Cala Ginepro is a no go back place.
