  Relaxing place to stay

  Steve made us feel very welcome. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. They also have a nice little cafe in the garden which did an excellent tea and scones when we arrived! It's a very short walk into town with a bustling high street and a great area for cycling (on and off road)

  Weekend away

  Return visit as we were so impressed on our first visit. Glad to see that, despite covid, the welcome was as good as our first visit. We forgot to book dinner so had to eat out but breakfast was superb and served with happy efficiency. We will be back and promise for longer next time

  Warm welcome, fantastic food and home from home

  We needed somewhere to stay for Deerstalker and found this venue, so glad we did the rooms were spacious, extremely clean. The welcome was warm and we forgot to book for evening meal but Steve managed to rustle us up something with what he had left and did not disappoint. We only stayed because of the event but had two wonderful nights and the hosts were so accompany the breakfast was also extremely good that we would love to come back. Would I recommend absolutely

  I'd give it six stars if I could

  What a way to end our holiday. The only bad thing was that we only stayed one night. Beautiful house, beautiful room, beautiful location. The bed was so soft and comfy with pillows that you melt into. The warmth of the welcome after a long journey from Ullapool was most appreciated and nothing was too much trouble. The cherries on top though were the evening meal and the breakfast. Beautifully cooked venison and one of the best breakfasts I've ever had anywhere. I wish them all the best in these tough Covid times as we will certainly be back. Highly recommended.

  Ideal, comfortable, COVID secure

  Just had two nights here, and highly recommend it. The owner is welcoming and has made sure the way the guest house is run is as COVID secure as possible, so I felt very relaxed. Breakfasts are good and varied, the room clean and comfortable with beautiful views.
