  Does the job!

  Last minute reservation. Stayed at the end of one of the buildings and it was nice and quiet. Bed very comfy. While the TV was old, had good channels. Bathroom was a blast from the past lol. Large fridge. In room recycling a plus! Great view and deck. A little overpriced for a motel. Very nice staff!

  Very pleased to have stayed here

  I was very pleased to have stayed in this hotel. Our check-in with Margaret was very smooth and friendly. The rooms, although older, were very neat and clean. The fact the rooms were older did not really bother us. We had a great dinner in the restaurant as the dishes were done well. The scenic lake across the hotel was real pleasure to look at. I will come back to this hotel given another chance to visit the Cabot trail.

  Great view good stay

  Modest, comfortable, clean. Shared front deck with a few Algonquin chairs, for morning coffee. Close enough to Tim Hortons! Space set aside out front for smokers to sit with view of water. Would choose again.

  Great location to see the cabot trail

  Stayed for two nights, first day drove to Fort ST. Louiseburgh (2 hrs) the second day drove the cabot trail, Atlantic side first, had bad luck with a lot of fog which lifted on the other side coming down . It takes about 8 hours with stops along the way and a great stop in Pleasant bay the Rusty Anchor, good seafood and great value. The special breakfast at the Cabot trail inn is fish cake with baked beans, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean.

  Exceptional cleanliness and hospitality

  We were a group of ATVers (16 machines - 27 guests) traveling from Cheticamp and we arrived before check in time however we were treated as any other. Check in was very pleasant and quick enough for 17 rooms arriving at once. We were offered a private sitting in their restaurant so we could all eat together. The food was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was phenomenal. The rooms were in need of updates however well taken care of, and very clean, the pride in their establishment shined through and the view was beautiful! Breakfast was the same as dinner, wonderful, with the same phenomenal staff. We certainly were made to feel welcome and appreciated, everyone raved of the service and food on the way home. We would certainly stay here again and we highly suggest this establishment for a nice visit to Baddeck, out of the hustle and bustle of the village but close enough to enjoy what Baddeck has to offer. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
