Cosy accommodation near climbing routesCosy hotel with good quality apartments including garage for the car. Owner is also nice and friendly. The hotel is in Poulithra, but if you have a car, the location is perfect for climbing. Hotel is on the shore, but near the mountains. Area is very beautiful!

Paradise in the PeloponneseGreeted by the ebullient George & Vasiliki, your vacation of blissful rest and relaxation is underway in these superb surroundings. The apartments are simply outstanding and along with the information, the warm welcome and the amazing views you really feel like you have arrived in paradise. The breakfasts are filling and combine local offerings with more traditional eggs, bacon, pastries and cereal. The local restaurant, the Myrtoon (there are a couple of others too) offers quality Greek cuisine with excellent service and the Cafe Bar en-route provides drinks and snacks. The bay and small harbour are a short stroll away and well worth the walk. Each morning you are greeted first by the bird song and swallows, then the memorable views and finally George and Vasiliki. The area around Poulithra is very scenic, though the roads are not for the feint hearted and Leonidio, a typical Pelponnesian town, is a short drive away. If you have the chance to stay in this area you will not find better, more welcoming accomodation or hosts.

Excellent stayAmazing apartments done with care. Very clean, nice balcony, comfortable bed. The family that runs it is very welcoming. The breakfast is very good. Just three minutes from a nice beach and good restaurants. Highly recommended for a short stay; likely also for a longer one (we only stayed for two nights).

Most enjoyableWe stayed for three nights at this excellent hotel. On arrival we were met by Vasiliki who instantly offered us a cooling drink in the heat we were experiencing. Our room was a apartment which had a separate bedroom, was very modern with everything we needed including air-con, which was well used. The bed was comfortable, spacious bathroom and the bedroom also had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The kitchen section again was fully equiped with a good sized fridge-freezer and everything you would need to make a meal if you wished. We were lucky in being given a room with a balcony which had a fabulous view looking out to sea and mountains to the right. The breakfast selection had offerings of eggs, pastries, cereals, fruit and much more. This could be taken either on the front terrace or inside in the reception area. This was usually the time the friendly George came to check on his visitors to ensure all was well. Parking, you had a choice of out on the road or under the hotel which I chose to do, if I remember there was enough room for five cars. The location is just a 4 minute walk to the beach and a little further to a selection of Taverna's. The hotel is located in a very quite area, which is good for peace and relaxation if required. Highly recommened.

a good place to live your escape from daily stressWe visited the hotel "Byzantinon" with my wife in October 2019 - we liked the Hotel a lot. We felt quite comfortable with the hospitality from the owner and the staff, cleanliness, and services were in high standards. I found the facility quite comfortable offering exactly what was mentioned on the web either related to the infrastructure or to the geography. Certainly, a place to trust. The staff was warm and friendly, willing to help us with any query or demand. The landscape is perfect for summertime which is typically the high season, but I would definitely recommend off-season escapes in autumn or spring, which can be really refreshing for people having a daily demanding and tight business profile. The Hotel and the landscape can certainly give you that.
