  The worst accommodation

  This has to be by far the worst accommodation Ive been in Australia and Ive travelled around Australia. The customer service is appalling and so are the rooms. Lets not talk about what they want to charge for an overnight stay! Its a disgrace that these people run a business treating people rudely. They should be ashamed of themselves. Would not recommend staying here. They rip you off and the rooms are extremely disgraceful. Will definitely be spreading the word how disgusting their customer service is and how horrible their rooms are and their ridiculous charge on a room per night! People STAY AWAY FROM BYRON MOTOR LODGE(11 Butler Street, Byron Bay)! Youll all be doing yourselves a favour. They do not deserve even the one point that theyre receiving, unfortunately Im unable to leave a review without it.

  Drop your expectations

  My girlfriends and I stayed here for one night over the weekend and there's nothing too impressive about the place. It's my first time staying in a motel and I know it's not going to be exciting compared to places I've stayed at in the past so my expectation was already pretty low. The room seemed clean, and the beds are okay. But the bathroom sliding door was derailed and it looks like it can fall on anyone. One of us figured out how to put it back on the rail so that went well. But I think it should have been fixed before letting anyone use the room.

  Awesome location and very friendly and accommodating staff

  Great price for the location. A bit basic but the location makes up for it. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Will stay there again next time I am in Byron. Rooms are ok and bed was comfortable. Will visit again next time i am in Byron

  Very Disappointed With This Accomodation -DONT BOOK

  Think twice before booking this accomodation. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was unable to attend this accomodation due to COVID-19 and was not even offered a change of dates instead charged the full amount as soon as I informed them that I was unable to go. Ive tried to speak to the property manager multiple times who wont even respond to my emails or phone calls. Byron Bay is a beautiful place however, the people who works and own this accomodation really dont care about anyone, reviews or helping people out during difficult times.

  So, so very bad.

  Three star Hotel? maybe 3 out of 100!! Doesn't deserve even one star!!! What a toilet, when we arrived the manager/owner was having an enormous augment with a guest. The next morning another guest was telling of their terrible experience dealing with the management. We stayed two nights, had booked and paid for three, when we told management on the morning after our first night we were leaving and would they consider a refund, they refused. The next morning the manager came to our room to confirm we were leaving because he could rent the room out again for the night but still refused us a refund. Greedy, rude and nasty, hostile and dishonest. I wish we had read all the reviews before staying there. DO NOT EVEN BOOK A NIGHT AT THIS HOVELL, SLEEP IN YOU CAR, CLEANER AND QUIETER.
