  Keep Expectations Low

  Ive paid the same price at other motels and had a much better experience. I shouldve known when we pulled up to the bullet-proof glass in the lobby and no restroom, that we needed to go elsewhere. We tried so many other motels and they were all full so we did not have a choice. (We were tired also and were there for CRIM races weekend) The staff person was friendly until I asked for clean sheets, and then she got defensive. Nothing personal, there are news reports for much higher class hotels that do not always change sheets so surely this place could be questionable! She brought me sheets (no pillow cases) to the room and then watched me exchange them because they have to keep inventory? I ended up covering my pillow case with one of my own shirts. The other patrons were loud-all night. If you are desperate for somewhere to sleep, stay here. There were small bugs near the sink and in the bathroom too. (I dont know what kind of bugs they were) There was some shopping and a few restaurants nearby by it mostly looked desolate around the surroundings.

  Stop complaining you get what you pay for...... This isnt the perfect place but it is clean, staff is friendly.

  It is right across the street from flint staff is there all night to keep people safe and do their job..... Bullet proof glass does not make it a bad place. Been here almost a month they change our bedding, clean our room, we get breakfast and start our day..... Oh and i havent seen any bugs or have any bites so dont just lie on this business to run people away....

  Best value place to stay around Flint/Burton

  This place was the positive surprise during my last trip: Friendly clean place with great comfort, free breakfast, good location not far from Highway and all that for a rate that doesn't hurt al all. The beds are wide with good sleeping comfort, the large TV offers lots of cable channel. Even though a budget hotel the other guests were good folks ... I had a pleasant stay and will definitely come again ...

  Not what expected

  Their motto is guaranteed clean rooms and my room had a used soap bar still in the shower and found a hair elastic beside the bed and it clearly didnt look vacuumed. Plus side found an unopened Budweiser in the fridge. The room was cold when we arrived and took over 30 minutes to warm up. They need to update their website to accurately reflect the look of the room as the pictures show rooms like theyre new and its actually very used.

  Check room before paying

  We were given a room on bottom level which was filthy. Then we were moved to upper level which was better. The fact that the security chains were broken off and laying on the floor in each room did not give a sense of security. Breakfast (toast, cereal, waffles) did not appeal after seeing the rooms.
