  Very pleasant stay

  Clean, neat and tidy facility with everything you need in a great location. Very comfortable stay. Covid check in and check out was a breeze, keep it going guys. Will be good to return when the restaurant and pool are open.

  Did not want for anything

  Excellent pre arrival informstion, clean spacious room, comfortable bed with spotless bathroom with toiletries. T+C, toaster and fridge. A short walk to info centre. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

  where's the binoculars??

  Well although Burra itself is a great little town the Burra motor inn left much to the imagination. Firstly the TV is the smallest tv I have ever seen. Trying to watch in from the bed you need binoculars. The room itself was clean and the bed comfy, but I found the lack of anyone at reception very annoying. When we arrived we tried to work out where to get the key (we had pre-booked) . No one at reception no one answering the phone number on the reception door. It turned out the our rooms were unlocked and keys inside, which I found strange. The reason given that reception was closed was that old chestnut COVID. I think its just lazy and cutting cost! Another example of laziness was the pool and restaurant being closed. Once again COVID is the culprit, but I believe it was another cost cutting exercise. We had stopped at two other motels in our travels and they didn't have a problem with their pools and restaurants being opened. Very disappointed.

  3 night visit to historic Burra

  Paul Henley and his staff were helpful, friendly and most welcoming, What a fantastic site and location in central Burra. Within an easy drive to many tourist sites, great food and country SA. We can not rate this place high enough. Tony and Ulla.

  Comfortable stay

  I stayed on a Saturday night on a motorbike trip to Burra and surrounds. I found everything clean and the bed was comfy and warm shower. Good location near town centre but even though both rooms along side me were occupied, I found it very quiet. The retsaurant was closed until March, so did not get to try it out. Good value for money.
