  Wonderfully clean great location but a little noisy

  A colleague and I stayed at the apartments. I had No 2 and he had No 3. His was a shop front right on the street and while comfortable and clean it was disconcerting. I was in apartment 2 - very comfortable again with two bedrooms and a great bathroom however it overlook the port and all night ships were being loaded and trains trundling and trucks beeping. So sleep was rare. However they are beautifully well equipped apartments

  Noisy over road from industry

  Noisy room. Wasnt told of ship yard over road or roadworks out front. No curtains so light into bedrooms. Bathroom basic. Some lights didnt work. Overpriced. Parking across road in joint carpark. Front door opens straight into street. Kitchen facilities fine. Heating by mobile heaters - they all worked.

  Opposite a Noisy Freight Railway yard

  The apartment is modern and well appointed however it is directly opposite a freight railway yard. Lots of noise from trains moving around. There are lots of stairs to climb and to carry your suitcase up. It was also disappointing to find the rubbish bins directly opposite the front door. Not very pleasant.

  Funky studio apartment

  Good nights sleep even with cargo yard lit up across the street....blockout blinds worked a treat. Well equipped space even with washer/dryer. Be aware three internal steps up to bathroom. I didn't give perfect score due to the two rickety dining chairs....one was actually missing a bolt! I will be messaging managing agent to address that. Short walk to city center. Carpark around the corner but can park out on street free of charge between 6pm to 9am. Be aware parking inspectors are active in area.

  Accommodation overlooking an industrial rail yard

  I strongly advise against staying at any of the 3 properties at 22 Marine Terrace as they are loud, dusty and have night lights as they face directly onto the busy industrial dockyards - complete with freight trains!
