  Wonderful Hotel

  Our family has been in Buerchnerhof for more than 20 times. It's always wonderful to be here again. The owners and the other staff are always willing to help you with anything you want. The customer is king in this hotel! Rooms are cosy and clean, the food is good and other facilities (like the swimmingpool) are also great! The environment and hotel is perfect for ski-trips with your family!

  Comfort, food, service & friendliness - the best!

  This was our fifth visit to this gem of a hotel set in beautiful mountain scenery. The room was comfortable and clean, the food imaginative and delicious, the service, both from staff and the family proprietors, was extremely friendly and helpful. Being able to walk straight out of the hotel, or take a short drive to experience the well-signed walks amongst the mountain scenery and wild flowers is an extra bonus. We also enjoyed the excellent swimming pool. This is an ideal place to experience the quiet beauty and awesome scenery of Switzerland, and yet is accessible by many forms of transport.

  Wonderful hotel, perfectly located!

  This was our second stay at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, rooms are lovely, cosy and clean. We love the breakfast buffet and also had a very good dinner at the hotels restaurant during our stay. Direct access to the slopes from the hotel. So convenient!

  Wonderful stay

  Me and my wife stayed 4 days in this lovely hotel in Bürchen, with 2 couples more. It was reserved by a friend of us that has a chalet here. So, this hotel was his choice The view is fantastic with all that green, the chalets and the outstanding valleys and peaks of Switzerland This is not a luxurious place but a very comfortable and cozy hotel with excellent food , both at breakfast and other meals. Its very well managed by a very nice couple and the daughter , always present. The inner pool is big for the size of the hotel and a good surprise. The rooms are good enough with a nice balcony If you look for something different away from the hot spots(Zermatt and the Matterhorn are very close) then this place is a pleasant surprise

  Exceeded expectations

  We stayed here over Christmas holidays in a search for a quiet skiing place to avoid corona and crowds and not expecting much else. However the hotel is just lovely and the hosts are so warm and welcoming, it made our stay so special. The food is so much more than what you may expect in a typical Swiss mountain place, and we genuinely all our meals. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and our two young children were treated like royalty. The hotel is ski in/ski out and as as icing on the cake, the swimming pool was much loved after skiing. Thank you for having us!!
