  Bunratty Beautiful

  We enjoyed our night in Bunratty. Lorraine was a perfect hostess in her lovely home. We enjoyed her suggestions for dinner at Dirty Nellys having dinner at the bar and enjoying some of the locals there. The hot sticky toffee pudding is to die for at Dirty Nellys and Fergus was an exceptional waiter. Loved the beauty of this house and the convenience to town.

  Excellent location to both Bunratty Castle and Shannon airport

  Spent our last evening in Ireland at this location and it worked really well for us. Almost within walking distance is Bunratty Castle where we attended Medieval Banquet. Short drive to airport which we needed in morning. Room was comfortable and hostess was very accommodating. Our breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of choices. Only issue was internet which was only available in common living area. Hostess told us this at start so we were informed. I do think this could probably be fixed and hope they will improve on that. Beds were comfortable and room was clean and bright.

  WiFi is Horrible

  Lorraine was very nice and friendly and helpful. Her B&B is clean. The bathroom is small and could use another towel rack and perhaps some shelves for toiletries. In addition the water pressure was really low so difficult to wash shampoo out of your hair. Breakfast was included and you had a choice of some hot items. It was good, but after experiencing the breakfast selections of other places, we found this one to be average. We got used to homemade scones and muffins and lots of fresh fruit options and yogurt toppings. The biggest loss of stars was for the horrible WiFi. It only worked in the sitting room and just barely. In this day and age, there is no excuse for bad WiFi - you can install boosters or repeaters to get WiFi to work in the bedrooms. I was unable to watch Netflix in the room in my pajamas or do any work on my computer, which was most inconvenient.

  Lovely Country Home

  We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the B&B. Lorraine was so enjoyable to get to know. She made you feel very welcome and was available for any questions. Very informative on tips when visiting different areas of Ireland. Very close and convenient to Shannon Airport. Would definitely stay there again if we are ever in the area.

  Top Notch

  Lorraine was an excellent host. Her B & B is very clean and the rooms are modern with wonderful linens. Breakfast was great. It is about a 5 minute drive to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park as well as several pubs. The country setting is beautiful.
