  Perfect

  The place is very exquisite. Everyone is there to help and to cater to your every need. The rooms are very clean and they get cleaned every day. The hotel offers free shuttle to ubud and to the beach at your request. The villas are very private and no one can look into to them. The breakfast is fresh and the staff will make you fresh omelet at your request. The villas are not located close to much, but thats what makes them perfect for a couple holiday. Its the ideal place to relax and when one wants to go somewhere you can either rent a scooter from the hotel or take a taxi. This is by far the best place Ive stayed at.

  I enjoyed my time at these villas but there were a few issues I ran into. Ill start with the positive first. Pros: beautiful scenery. Staff is beyond helpful and attentive. Extremely clean. They literally come and clean everything every morning. Very quiet and secluded. Perfect getaway. The private pool is a great touch. Loved the outdoor bathroom. Cons: pretty far away from everything including airport (about an hour out) but I knew this when booking. ANTS EVERYWHERE. I understand theres an outdoor aspect to the villas but Jesus there were ants all over the place even in the cafe. I have bites all over my legs. My second day staying there the water went out. No shower no sink no anything (to be fair the staff handled it very quickly but the hot water ran with a very weak stream. Barely enough to bathe with). The outdoor tub takes a year and a day to fill up. Literally. By the time you get it halfway filled the water is brick cold. The food was absolutely deplorable. Not even an overstatement. Overall I enjoyed being secluded in the villas but they clearly could step it up a bit.

  Disappointed

  Booked 3 nights here at the start of our month trip to Bali, based on good trip advisor reviews. Booked a one bedroom villa with breakfast. First impression was good,expansive grounds,well kept and some Balinese character.Check in was easy,extremely pleasant and smiling gentleman. Sadly,that's where it all changed, our villa was very old,unloved and in major need of maintenance, only 3 lightbulbs were in working order, no lights at the pool so when it got dark,was pretty dangerous, as you couldn't see where you were going,especiallywith bat droppings on the floor. Ventured to the bar/restaurant to find it deserted.,not even a sign of any resident, so Decided after staying in our villa one night that we would leave. Informed reception first thing after breakfast and realized we were indeed the only 2 people in the hotel. Some serious work needs done here, the accommodation needs a complete overhaul, we left feeling very disappointed indeed, villa definitely not as advertised.

  Romantic private pool villas. Only lacking a good restaurant

  Stayed in Bhumi Linggah for two nights. Nicely built villas with large private swimming pool where I could swim laps. Elegantly decorated. Large, outdoor bathroom with tub. The whole area is peaceful and you wake up to the chirping of birds. Living amidst nature. The staff is helpful. The only drawback I felt was the lack of a good restaurant. The in house cafe has a very limited menu ( No bebek curry or bebi guielleng ). Besides, the resort is built in a secluded area with limited eating options nearby. Hence, the need for a good in house restaurant. Prices are OK. Though, they provide free shuttle to sanur beach and ubud, the availability of the shuttle is limited and they must be informed well in advance. Its predominantly for couples and families who want to escape to a peaceful place

  Nice quiet place with excellent accommodations and staff.

  We stayed at Bumi Linggah immediately after arriving in Bali. We were aware of the location - somewhat far from most things - but we wanted a nice quiet place to sleep off our jet lag. The airport shuttle was a nice service, but unfortunately the shuttle wasn't on time to pick us up from the airport. I called the hotel and they were very apologetic, and assured me that the driver would arrive but was caught in traffic. They eventually arrived, but it wasn't the best first impression, especially after traveling for two days. Our villa was very nice and very clean. There were some minor issues, but for the most part the place was in great shape. The outdoor kitchen, pool, and bedroom were all really nice and great places to spend time. The hotel isn't within walking distance of any major attractions, but the hotel arranged a private driver for us the day after we arrived. The price was very reasonable for a full day and the driver was great. We ate several meals at the hotel just out of convenience, and the food was fine. We ordered room service the first night and this arrived promptly and exactly to order. Breakfast wasn't terrible but left something to be desired. Some of the food was being completely devoured by ants, and overall it wasn't the highest quality. That said, there are a variety of restaurants close by that provide an alternative to the hotel's food. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Bumi Linggah. The staff was fantastic, and very eager to accommodate us in any way they could. They really do a great job there. We would certainly stay with them again on a future trip to Bali.
