Reasonable location, noisy road, average facilities

This hotel stands on a noisy road and my friend and I shared a room overlooking the road. Even with the window closed and the curtain across the noise was still noticeable. The room was clean with no additonal facilities above those of a 3-star UK hotel. The staff seemed efficient but not overly friendly (or happy?) Turnig right out of the hotel, walkin a couple of blocks along the busy road and then turning right again brings you very quickly to a pleasant strip of park running along the top of the cliff overlooking the sea. I wouldn't choose to stay there but I have stayed in far worse locations and hotels.

Good Job It Was Our Last Night

If this hotel had been the first on our tour rather than the last I would have been straight onto the tour company to complain. The room was shabby and in need of decoration. There was dust on the skirting boards which made us wonder what other hygiene problems there might be lurking away unseen. The bathroom ceiling was thick with mildew above the shower and the paint was peeling. The room overlooked a busy, noisy road and we were woken at 6.30 by the call to prayer. I respect people's religions but the hotel could invest in double glazing! There was a small swimming pool and sun deck but it didn't look enticing, even if we'd had time to use it. There was no bar as such, just the reception area lounge. Drinks could be ordered and they would be brought to your seat, but to be quite honest I've seen a more convivial atmosphere in an airport departure lounge! The food was of pretty mediocre quality and lacked choice. By that I mean if you didn't want chicken for dinner you went hungry. There were insufficient staff on duty in the dining room. By the time a waiter came to take our drinks order we has nearly finished our main course. Give this one a miss if you want a nice holiday.

    Ow Well!

This was the stopover hotel for the flight next day - which was just as well. The hotel is rather more 'dated' than usual in modern Turkey. It is situated on a main thoroughfare and therefore suffered from outside noise round the clock. The reception area is small for the people throughput and given two small lifts things were cramped and exasperating. The room was an adequate size and the space reasonable. However, the furniture was very dated and in poor condition. The bathroom was well fitted out but had no sink or bath plugs; and the towels were threadbare. Dinner and food was served in the basement so it was artificial light and dingy as well. The food was sparse and not well prepared.

    Need Renovation

i stay there just one night, cleaning was ok but furnitures were very old and there was a bad smell in the room. Front desk staff was helpful but they woke me up at 6am and said "you request a wake up call" but i didn't! if you are looking something close to city center for short and affordable stay this hotel is an option.

    Terrible

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in... So, the hotel itself is ok, good value for money, clean, and rooms are ok. HOWEVER!!! The service, the staff.... They are rude from reception staff to breakfast and cleaners. Upon check in went to pay with card and it must be the only place in the world that doesnt accept visa or MasterCard... its Turkish cards or cash so I had to walk 10 minutes to find a bank, bearing in mind I had just got off the plane and it was 11pm at night... The next day I wanted a drink but again wouldnt take card so I went to the shop next door bought a drink and paid on card then went and sat by the pool... well no this isnt allowed I have to buy drinks from them... Asked for ice and they said no.. go shop and buy it.. this was on google translate by the way. They have a water machine but I wasnt allowed any because I had to buy bottled water from them. I wasnt allowed to take a towel from my room and put on the scanky sun loungers the man came over never said anything and snatched it from my hand. I was then questioned by the cleaners as to why I am missing towels.... try to explain when not one word of English is spoken was very difficult.. I know I dont speak Turkish but Im not offering a service to international guest where a small knowledge of English could be used. It gets better..... I wanted a toilet roll as had run out of it, it was like I had stolen the toilet roll, the cleaner and some guy were not impressed I asked for another one. They were rude, aggressive tone being spoken but eventually did hand over the toilet roll.. I sat in reception and it was hot... so I switched the Aircon on, the man from reception walked over and switched it off... The staff are just RUDE, the tone of voice is aggressive and they are generally not very good host. Needless to say I shall not be staying here ever again as Im sure many guest before me wont and many guest after me wont. Apparently the bulvar hotel is a new name so it appears they have rebranded as probably the reviews were that bad they were going to close.. it will happen again..... They seriously need to sort the level of service out because the pool is very nice and the hotel is alright but the service and staff are the worst I have ever experienced in any hotel I have ever been in.... Ive left many reviews and I always say positive things about hotels and very rarely leave a negative review but it was 100 % required on this occasion...
