  Relaxing stay

  This was a special family treat organised by our daughter to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was a lovely surprise and proved to a wonderful experience for us all. Our comfortable signature room overlooked the golf coarse and gardens, splendid view. It took the first day to acquaint ourselves with the system of operation, social distancing, remembering when and where to wear face masks etc. The hotel obviously takes clients well being to heart, good to see. We were lucky enough to enjoy the pool and spa for an hour which was booked well in advance of our stay. The pool/spa area is given a 15 minute clean between each 6 person group which shortens your time but is necessary given present circumstances. The hotel has a relaxed feel about it, quiet, comfortable lounge areas where it is easy to get into conversation with other guests. The staff we found to be friendly, attentive and efficient. The meals were delicious, be it breakfast or diner, we enjoyed them all. Our only sorrow is that we didn't stay longer, another night or two would have been perfect.

  Best Covid prepared hotel ever

  Really loved it here from the comfortable bed, and good food right down to the lovely walk down to the waters edge. The hotel is in the country but easy to find. It does have a golf course and a spa but we didn't use either. We have stayed in half a dozen hotels since Covid but no doubt that in this front, Budock Vean was the best. Staff wear gloves and a mask, same table for every meal, staff don't touch your food or drinks Menu is a la carte only but plenty of choice and changes daily Highly highly recommended

  Beautiful hotel - weve booked for next year

  We stayed here for a week in the hotel over the Summer (husband, me and six year old), for one week. I was desperate to stay longer and the manager managed to accommodate me and daughter for another four nights without having to move rooms. The location is absolutely stunning and the pool a fantastic temperature. Some places a bit dated (I was surprised on arrival) but its fine. The Covid steps are exceptional - really well managed. As such, I have just booked to stay next Summer - two weeks in the Badger cottage and four nights again with my daughter in their newly renovated rooms. We chose on the cottage, as while the food is lovely. (and we will be eating in the restaurant often) I couldnt cope with four course meals for 18 days! I imagine this hotel will become an annual holiday for us!

  Amazing stay

  We had 1 night at Budock Vean as pre Xmas treat unable to say anything bad about our stay. The room was warm luxurious top class bathroom large fluffy towels and bathrobes with slippers. Great swimming pool with outside hot tub which was immaculately clean . The staff are really on top form with sanitising after each visit always felt safe. Our evening meal and breakfast was served by friendly staff and we didnt have to wait long for service. We will be definitely visiting again !!

  First class. COVID secure. Staff are as outstanding as ever.

  Stayed in a beautifully refurbished room on the third floor - a superior room that did not disappoint in any way. Beautifully decorated, with a forensic attention to detail and a careful finish. The walk-in shower room was 5* quality. Superb food, as always. Great service. The staff in this hotel are genuinely focussed on and dedicated to the highest standards of customer satisfaction. The pool, hot tub and sauna are all available to enjoy with some simple health and safety COVID restrictions. 10/10. Outstanding.
