  A surprise find

  Were on an extended trip to Melbourne. We breezed into Hamilton and discovered that there was some sort of Trade thing on and most hotels were booked out. On the advice of the excellent receptionist at the Lakeside caravan park, we tried our luck here - and were glad we did. The staff were great and they are currently refurbing the rooms which are clean and functional. It is tucked away beside the lake which makes it nice and quiet too. A good honest place to spend the night and doesnt promise to be anything it isnt.

  Renovated rooms are great!

  I recently stayed here one night, I stayed in room 5 the recently renovated room I was very pleased with their recent renovations they have added a few modern touches which made my stay more enjoyable things such as Netflix on the TV and USB points which was great as I forgot to bring my charger, also have a raised fridge and microwave table and chairs for 2 well presented room LOVELY accommodating owners i stayed with my dog trailer (working dogs) and they made room for me to park in front of my room, they also have 1 dog friendly room where your dog can stay in the room with you also but you have to ring them to book that room and a park across the road to take your dog for a walk/run, i was very pleased with the price/accommodation and i would recommend and stay again

  Nice little place ha day to the centre of town

  We were passing through and searching for options to stay came across this motel. It's a small motel, a short easy drive from the centre of town. Our room was recently renovated, and presumably so were all the others (there are about 10). It was a good size, clean, comfortable, modern and well equipped. Being a little out it was also quiet. Our stay was two weeks out from Christmas and the owners had gone all out to decorates the outside areas.

  A great overnight stay

  We booked last minute as we were passing through Hamilton with our dog & struggling to find somewhere to stay. The managers at the time were relief managers & were delightfully helpful. The room was clean, modern (recently updated?) and comfortable. We slept well & I'd happily recommend this motel as a good budget conscious option.

  Great budget hotel with new rooms

  Staff were a bit detached and not very friendly , but very helpful by giving us an early checkin Rooms though a bit old style on outside but surprisingly nice on inside All New and quite swish Loved the bathroom Bed very comfy Njce bright bed coverings Pillows wonderful Great view of lake Near shops with good fish & chipper on the corner Overall quite happy with stay safe
