First impressions goodWhen we arrived I was very impressed by the look of these lodges. They have the most amazing views and very comfortable beds. To see the view you have to have all the curtains open so the afternoon sun pours straight in making the place extremely hot. The way the split system air conditioner is placed it does nothing to cool down the sleeping area. You cant leave the doors open because of the insects. There are no fly screens on the doors. The ones on the windows were very dirty. We had to wash the crockery before we could use it. The glasses were stuck to the shelf and the cups , well Ive attached a photo. The kitchen is too small to prepare anything so its probably a waste of space. Not good value for money.

ComfortableThere are 8 funky little buildings with triangular decks and fabulous views. They are spacious and comfortable with basic cooking facilities, beautiful bathroom and huge TV. However, its no use having cooking facilities if there are no chairs to sit on to eat! A small table and chairs on the lovely deck would be great to take in the afternoon sunshine and the sunset too. Bedside tables on both sides of the bed would be good too. A few extra bits of furniture would make these lodges fabulous.

Beautiful Church House for a comfortable stayWe stayed at the All Angels Church House a few nights ago. After a somewhat bumpy booking process, we were offered the Church House for the 4 of us (two couples) and our small dog (dogs aren't usually allowed at the house, but was offered as I originally struggled with the staff/booking process). We were so impressed with everything. I had read several times that the house was even nicer than presented online, and that wasn't wrong! Comfy couches, good sized tv with a few dvds to choose from, a good stocked kitchen (there were 2 can openers for our beetroot we bought!) and three well appointed bedrooms to choose from. The clawfoot bath was a hit with my sister in law and I! Very comfortable beds and a nice pellet fire and wall heaters to keep us all toasty:) very happy with our stay at the All Angels Church House. Friendly staff at the hotel too, where we had a delicious lunch before we headed off to check out the house. Tip- the chicken parmy is plenty for two people!!
