Nice rooms and stuffWe've stayed for 4 days in this hotel. They are very hospitality and so nice to us. He also helped us with our car problem and took time to even fix it. We ordered wine and the temperature of it was too hot, about 30 degrees. We mentioned it and asked if she could put it in the fridge and she was very annoyed and said that they drink it warm like that, but thats not true, wine is served about 16-18 degrees. Anyway the apprentice was very nice, for breakfast you have a big option.

Terrible room but good service/foodWe stayed here for a weekend ski trip with our club (about 50 people) and while some of the rooms are newer the older rooms in the main part of the hotel are nothing short of a small disaster. From the terrible mattress to the dripping shower and bad thermostat to regulate hot/cold water. Then the bedside radio could not be turned off as well as the table light that stayed on permanently and could not be turned off unless one turned the bulb out. Finally the very loud and old fridge we had to eventually turn down so we could sleep. The only bright spot was the friendly staff and the food which everyone thought was quite good and had a nice selection for breakfast. This partially made up for the terrible room but still I can only give them an average rating. If you decide to stay here don't get a room in the older part of the hotel.

Room was average but convenient location and good foodWe came with a group trip to go Rafting and Canyoning at SportCamp Tirol. The food was surprisingly delicious. The chef seems to truly love what he does. The dinners were the highlight of our time at the hotel. The wifi was strong and overall, the staff was amenable. Breakfast has no hot options, only cold, but it was diverse enough with a large selection each day of cheeses and meats and breads. There were also cereals and milk for those wanting that. Unfortunately, we were given a room in the older section. The carpets haven't been updated in decades and the common areas (including the hallways) reek of old smoke. At least, we THOUGHT it was old, until we saw some of the housekeepers smoking, which made sense since most of Europe seems to smoke. Nearly everything in the hotel seemed very old. Our window opened to the sound of a whitewater river, which was glorious. If you leaned out the window, you could see the Alps in nearly every direction. There is a grocery store across the street, so it's easy enough to stock up on anything you may want. If you're looking for a great place nearby to hang with friends, just up the street is an awesome restaurant /bar, Lex & Mex. Ate lunch there a couple of times and it was fantastic.

Great place, great hostStayed one night on our cycle trip through Austria and werent disappointed. A fabulous large bedroom, superb wide selection of delicious food for breakfast, complete with food bags to make up some lunch too! Alex could not have been more helpful in welcoming us and recommending places to eat and also places to stay on our next stop. Would definitely recommend.

Average Hotel, Although...The hotel is pretty standard. A mixture of rustic and classic hotel rooming and a modern hotel rooming in the new section. In the modern section the bathroom is obly seperated by a box with glass panels covered by grey lines providing no privacy! The downstairs is mixed with oddly placed furniture and a salad bar next to the reception area. Service is fine with no complaints coming from me. Although a strong smell of tobacco can be smelt in the corridors but never in the rooms(Non smoking hotel?) The breakfeast/dinner service service is reasonable in comparison to nearby hotels and the food itself is also pretty normal. I wouldn't spend more than a week here though. Even if I had a discount. The nearest ski resorts are 30 minutes to an hour long so its nothing to be happy about. Overall, disatisifying and uncomfertable for large groups.
