  My wife and I stayed here late May 2015. Welcomed by Tony and a combustion fire with some cool jazz music playing in the background. The warmth and charm of the cottage was felt immediately. The attention to detail from candles in the bath/spa room to complimentary port above the fire, just made you feel special. The provisions supplied for a cooked breakfast was generous and delicious. Tony and Wendy are wonderful hosts and were available with any necessary top ups. Port Elliot is a beautiful and friendly coastal town. Hope to stay there during whale season one day. Recommend to couples who want to unwind.

  Well worth visiting!

  Situated high on the hill overlooking the Fleurieu coastline, but only a 5 minute drive from Horseshoe Bay, Brooklands is a peaceful base for a fabulous long weekend. The cottage is very comfortable, the breakfast provisions mostly locally sourced and very generous, and the view is fantastic. It is well suited for a couple. We highly recommend it!   History on a hillside

  A historic restored stone 3-room farm cottage with a designer landscaped garden and excellent views to the ocean. The extra effort put in by the owner to provide vegan treats was appreciated. The property can be roamed on and the roos are plentiful. A great base to wander the area and then come back to sit outside in the garden and enjoy a drink while enjoying the vast views out to sea.   Romantic winter escape

  What a beautiful cozy place to stay in the winter. The cottage was adorable, we loved the extra touches, including substantial breakfast provisions (fresh bread, jams, honey, bacon, eggs, yoghurt, mushrooms, avocado, salsa, milk, great selection of teas, and coffee and hot chocolate). Also marshmallows for the fireplace and penfolds port. Also complimentary bottle of wine. This place was perfect, even candles above the spa bath. When we arrived the fire and heater was on for us and jazz music greeted us,what a lovely way to arrive. We even saw kangaroos out the bathroom window on our last morning there. Tony and Wendy were wonderful hosts, this place was beautiful in every way. Will be recommending this place to everyone!

  Brooklands heritage B$B port Elliot

  Was fantastic and loved every second of it! Was the best way to start our honeymoon and the little cottage reminded me of something from a fairytale. The food was awesome and the owners were so organised and had covered everything
