  Bedroom and Dining area and Reception

  Thank you once again for a very pleasant stay . Friendly and efficient staff, lots of good food and helpful and welcoming receptionists. Room was clean and well serviced.We look forward to going there again for short break.

  Family dinner

  The welcome was very warm. The staff, very friendly and attentive. Dining room very comfortable. The food was exceptional for four different dishes that were served on the day and the two childrens options were eaten with relish. The food was that good that my daughter and her husband returned the following evening for round two, which did not disappoint. Congratulations all round. Liam and family.

  Implementation of Covid guidelines could be better

  Covid guidelines did not appear to be implemented properly. Patrons walking around in public areas without masks. Sanitisation of eating areas inconsistent. Staffs did not seem to have the confidence to pull people up on mask wearing. Large group of men seen at two tables - should only be from 3 households but clearly not. More training needed. Otherwise visit was fine. Food good.

  Lovely Staff But Rooms Need A Serious Revamp

  We stayed here for 2 nights recently. The hotel is a great base for exploring some of the most spectacular scenery on the Wild Atlantic Way. Belmullet is a lovely little town but unfortunately due to Covid we didn't get to experience the social scene. The Broadhaven is a 4-star hotel and on the drive up to the building you can see why. It looks luxurious. As soon as you enter though you begin to notice it is very dated. The rooms all have hideous net curtains blocking the sea views. Why on earth would you do that? We tied ours up during our stay. Stained carpets and sun damaged curtains that look like they've been hanging there for many years let the place down. I can imagine that the Broadhaven was rightly rated as a 4 star hotel a few years ago but not now. It needs a serious revamp. Having said that the staff in the bar/restaurant are lovely. They can't do enough for you and all seem to be local people with a great knowledge of the area. The full Irish breakfast is huge and there's no problem with any special dietary requirements. Just ask and the staff will do everything they can to help. All Covid guidelines seemed to be adhered to while we were there. We would definitely stay at the Broadhaven again but if there's anyone from management reading this, for God's sake get rid of those awful net curtains.

  What a great hotel

  Stayed here in August for a family break and to explore the Mullet Peninsula. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent. The hotel was clean and had lots of open areas to relax in. The location was perfect with lovely views of the bay and within walking distance of the town. I would certainly stay here again and would recommend this hotel.
